Thanks for the list, Catt, and thanks to everyone else for the input. For those that have mentioned over/unders and side by sides-what is the attraction there? I see either as limiting due to capacity. Is there a significant difference in accuracy, reliability, etc.? I'm friends with the 2007 4H Texas state champion skeet shooter. He uses a Beretta over under. His brother also shoots competion and uses the exactsame gun. They said you can't beat an over under. They said they don't jam, and are better for shooting clays. I figure they know what they're talkin about. I like the look of side by sides though. I'm sure they have their advantages too. -Ike

I love my pump!! In a few months I'll be getting a Remmington 870. good gun, and not too expensive. For me I'll take my pump any day of the week. For defense you can't beat a side by side double barrel. But for chooting under overs are better. Between semi-auto and pump; I'd say go with a pump. How much $$$ are you looking to spend -Ike

Regular dot-3 brake fluid will work. I don't know if they make a 'clutch fluid' or not, but I've always used the brake fluid. Just top it off, and you'll be good to go. -Ike

Couldn't agree with you more! OU lost on Oct 11, UT lost on Nov 1. And you can take this as a compliment or an insult, but OU lost to a better team than Texas did. I have to say that I think Tech is a better football team the OU. Tech just lost when they couldn't afford to. They looked UNSTOPPABLE for most of their season. Their last 2 weren't so good (I know they beat Baylor, but not by much.), and the way the BCS works, too bad for them! But I can't do nutthin about it except complain to ya'll so let's just sit back and watch Florida beat the snot outta OU!! -Ike

Exactly!! The "blowout factor" is a bad thing. It takes the intergity out of the game. It encourages teams to 'run up the score'. In the 4th quarter, Texas would usually play subs. Instead of running up the score. I don't think a playoff system would work either. Like Matt said it'll just leave somebody else at home. While the SEC tie-breaker rules aren't perfect, I still belive they're better than what the Big 12 has. It doesn't completly eliminate the BCS standings, but........It recignizes what was done ON THE FIELD! While you can argue about how OU blew out their oppents, like was mentioned before, Mack Brown would often play the 2nd string players. And as far as the OU UT matchup. It is played on a nuetral site every year, so no team has the home field advantage. (actually, I think OU is closer by a few miles.) I don't care how bad OU beat other teams, or all that. Fact is, TEXAS BEAT OU 45-35, nuff said! But let's not forget about Tech. They had one major loss. And unfourtantley for them it came late in the season. That's the way the BCS works. If you're gonna loose make sure ya do it early. Because if you loose late, you get screwed!! You also have th respect how much they improved on the pre-season ranking. (I'm not sure but I think it was 24th or something.) In all, 3 EXCELLENT teams deserve to play for the Big 12 championship. and 2 get to stay home. go figure. -Ike

This isn't about Tech. They're ranked 7th or whatever. It's about Texas and OU. It was a toss up between them, and Texas CLEARLY proved they were the better team. I don't see how ypu can get any clearer than beating the other team. By 10 points no less. Bottom line, Texas should be playing Mizzou. I do have to agree about Florida! As I remember..............Texas lost to TT by 1 second! In Lubbock!! Yes OU CREAMED them, but they were in Norman. Oh, and what was that score from the Red River Rivalry?? Oh, ya TEXAS won that game. 45-35 I may be crazy but to me it just doesn't make sense that OU get's to play, when Txas has already beaten them. No kidding!! Are you kidding me!!?? How can they rank OU over Texas???!! Remeber the 45-35!! I know OU played REALLY good ball the last few weeks of the season, and had a solid season, but SO DID TEXAS!! OU beat Texas Tech in their place. Texas beat OU in a NEUTRAL site! Tech beat UT in Lubbock. I'm not degrading what OU did, but they were in their own house, and Texas's ONLY loss of the season was by 6 points. TEXAS WAS 1 SECOND FROM A PERFECT SEASON! OU and Tech can't say that. I don't see how you can't saw Texas isn't deserving!! I think it's the BCS's fault as well as the B.S. Big 12 tie-breaking system. The SEC and ACC have it figured out. Check out their tie-breaking systems and tell me if that isn't the best way. Something ain't right when 2 teams (OU and Mizzou) are playing for the Big 12 championship game when TEXAS beat BOTH OF THEM!!! Again, not to take anything away from OU, but sorry guys, we beat ya!! I'd like to see Texas play in the championship. DUH!! A lot of people are saying OU can beat Tech. I think they have a good shot (And I'd like to see Tech loose) but TT is looking waaaay good!! I have a question for ya'll who actually understand the BCS......... If Tech beats OU, and remains undefeated, And wins the BIG 12 and Alabama looses to Florida in the SEC championship game, and Texas keeps on winning and is the runner up in the BIG 12 South. So Texas would be #2 and Tech would be #1 would they play in the BCS championship? It seems like they would, but I don't know if two teams can play if they're from the same confrence. I've been doing that kind of work for about 3 years now. I enjoy it. There's nothing I like better than working outdoors. I'm hoping I'll still be able to haul hay and do tractor work. I'd like 1 day a week for that. As for teeth. I don't know what they gave me, but I felt high or drunk or somehting when I woke up!! IT was INSANE!!! I couldn't imagine doing ti with only numbing. As for school............I'm homeschooled, so I can make-up on weekends, and at night. Plus I'm a senior, so I'll be done with High Shcool pretty soon. I'll just see how it goes. -Ike

Well the other day I was offerd a postion as Crew Cheif for a Lawn & Landscaping company. I just got my wisdom teeth yanked (on Monday) so tomorrow I'll call the guy to set a date to discuss the details (wages, hours, locations etc.) It'd be really nice If it all worked out, 'cause in the winter I have VERY LITTLE business!! When I first talked to the guy he seemed like he REALLY wanted to hire me. It'd be a year round job. He also said, he's been having problems with his lawn crew (dishonest/lazy workers, etc.) So I told him I knew a bunch of guys that work hard, so If all goes well I'll be having my buddies workin with me! I really can't remember if I gave ya'll the latest Git R Done Jeep update or not so here it is............. If ya'll remeber I figured out my Master & Slave cylinders for the clutch went out. I replaced the Master Cylinder, no problem, but when the Slave came in, I thought it looked a bit funny lookin. So I got out the manual and discoverd the Slave cylinder is actually inside the Transmission. Now, I could, drop it and replace it, but I'd need a few days at my buddies house, and his tools, etc. and it'd be a real pain in the butt!! So I decided to take it in. While they were under there they said the whole clutch assembly was going out (and seeing how the jeep is 20 years old, I belive them.) they also said It'll end up costing between $900 & $1200!! Anyways, I should be getting it back before the end of the week.
