  1. Sorry to hear that man! I feel for ya!
  2. Sometimes the casting rods don't come with a trigger. I HAVE TO HAVE MY TRIGGER!!! 8-)
  3. I could use that. BPS jsut garnishes my paycheck!
  4. Yep. We got ours. We've been getting them for a few years. I think it has to do with our cabelas credit cards. That's a deal right there!! Bait monkey is running rampant!!! ;D ;D 8-)
  5. RIIIIIIGHT. We'll se how it turns out. Should be interesting..............
  6. Shimano makes a nice Citica. right now they have them with a $30.00 rebate!! So you're looking at about $90-100 bucks. I don't really know that much about cheaper end rods......All star makes some nice ones that aren't that bad. Also try Castaway and American Rodsmiths. But for the reel I would ABSOLUTLEY go with SHIMANO CITICA. P.S. don't listen to Muddy Man
  7. It kinda looks like a bps reel. But Okouna makes one that looks similar like Olebiker said. I can't belive they didn't put their logo on it...... :-? want to sell it?
  8. That's pretty neat!! Somebody has WAAAAAAAY too much time on their hands!
  9. That's something new!!! A Cummins Streeeeetch. :o
  10. I'm wondering how many (if any.....) bowhunters we have here. When you reply list the specs of your bow. Bow: Mathews Solocam Conquest 2. Rest: Top Gun Drop Away Rest Sight: Tru Glow Fiber Optic Sight Arrows: Easton St. Epic Carbon Arrows. Broadheads: Magnus Stingers/ Thunderheads 8-)
  11. Tony- I really don't have that hard a time when it's windy. I always cary an anchor, which helps and on my kayak, I have a rudder on the back which makes it REALLY easy to steer when paddling. With the rudder you don't have to concentrate on steering with your paddle. It's pretty nice. here's a pic of my kayak. (mine is orange) http://www.wildernesssystems.com/tarpon-120-angler
  12. We got some kinda big T Storms, but nothing like what's been going around! Thanx for thinking 'bout us.
  13. I have a kayak. I LOVE IT!!! I've taken it out in the bay, the lake and even the surf for some AWESOME fishing! The one I have is a Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120. It's about 12 feet long. It cost around $700 but I got it on sale. But you can find MANY other GREAT kayaks for the same price, or cheaper. I would DEFINATALLY go with a kayak. Just make sure you get a "sit on top" as opposed to a "sit in" http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_58961_200006006_2000000000_200006000_200-6-6
  14. It's REALLY close between RatLTraps and Rapalas. I throw RatLTraps more because they're a bit cheaper. But the Rapala's are my "go to bait" Both are EXCELLENT!
  15. Just wondering how many folks we have that fish the Texas Coast. I'd like this to be a thread where we can share tips, and tacticts.
  16. Basketball Genius Sux at life.
  17. I'd get a SHIMANO CITICA! Awesome reels and you'll still have some $$$$$ left over!!! They have a $30 rebate going on right now.... You should find one for around $100...............
  18. Do ya'll know how long the rebates are gonna be around? I'm looking to get a new Citica, and I'd like to get it with the rebate. Just wondering how much time I have.............
  19. That's Right!!!
  20. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
