  1. Yes the Nichols Ben Parker magnum flutters spoons area whole lot of work. Not just casting a 3.5 oz bait but the rod stokes working the spoon will flat wear you out. Worse then casting & retrieving a 10XD crankbait.

  6. That's St Croix for you. I have supported them for a long time.
  7. I recently converted my 60" 24volt terrova copilot to a 72" I-pilot. I needed a longer shaft for lake erie waves & wanted the spot lock feature & gps capabilites. I have been very pleased with the transformaton. This is my second terrova unit (two different boats) and I have never had a problem with them. I have always used the electronic remote never the foot pedal.
  8. Sweet looking PB. Congrats.
  9. Enjoy your B-day Kent.
  10. That sounds like fun. Good luck on your surgery.
  11. I have a 200 series calais if that helps. I take it the curado I idea didn't work.
  12. I like to use a moderate action or moderate fast action for treble hook baits. Fast action or extra fast action for single hook baits. That keeps it pretty simple.
  13. You look skinny in that pic, the fish not so much.
  14. Congrats on the new PB.

  18. Scrounger jigs all have snaps attached as do bladed jigs so I would say no loss of sensitivity .
  19. I have used these on jerkbaits & they work just fine. They are not circle hooks. Available thru TW.
  20. It never hurts to have a plan just in case.
  21. He would have looked bigger if you posted the picture sideways like your avatar.
  22. Another thought about getting back in your boat is to use the engine. If you have an electric tilt you can step on the lower unit then tilt the engine up to help you get back in.
