  1. Maybe his buddies put him up to it. There is a lot of notoriety to be gained by ramming Big O's boat. Heck maybe the bass put him up to it thinking you might leave them alone.
  2. Nice to finish your open water season on a positive note. A 19" incher is a pretty good fish! My boat getting winterized today so I know that dreaded feeling.
  3. Fitovers that's what I wear, same concept as cocoons. They really give you good wind protection preventing dry eyes from a day on the water when boating.
  4. I have an HDS 10 mounted behind a full windshield on my starcraft with no problems. My internal antenna has no problems at any speed 0 to 60.
  5. I figured that would get a rise out you. I was only talking about my guiding abilities since you gave me a smack down on catching.
  6. Up to 20lbs makes for real beauties but your always yearning for that one special fish. Once your knocking on the 30lb door you have achieved trophy success. Congrats on a real trophy.
  7. Nice post Brad. Your definitely on the right side of the learning curve.
  8. Nice other brown fish J. PA is stocking brownies in our creeks starting last year so the lake fishing for them early & late should be a good deal for me.
  9. While your finding a place to store your stuff over winter don't forget to back off the drags nobs or drag stars & the spool tension knob so they don't take a set over winter. Store them loosened
  10. Here is my two cents. Camber & toe in or toe out will both cause premature tire wear if not properly set. And yes both setting should be checked with the trailer fully loaded as when towing. Caster on the other hand will only effect handling but not tire wear. A simple explanation of toe in is toes pointed in & heels pointed out as in pigeon toed. Toe out is toes pointed out while the heels are pointed in. Toe wear scuffs the tires by dragging them somewhat sideways as they rotate. Now camber is the relationship between two tires leaning towards each other at the top or leaning away from each other at the top. Camber wear causes the tire to wear more on one side than the other because the tire is carrying more load on one side than the other as opposed to even distribution across the face of the tread. Caster is the angle measured straight through the center of the tire from top to bottom. Negative caster places the tire leaning back as it moves forward. Like you standing and leaning back on your heels while walking forward. Positive caster places the tire leaning forward like you standing on your toes with weight shifted forward as you walk ahead. Caster angles affect steering/handling but don't cause premature tire wear. Usually the best place to get a boat trailer aligned is a frame shop that does collision repairs.

I know you can do it as I did. It does get easier as each day passes. Stick with it Lee.
  12. It happens to us all J. Just makes you want to go out & settle the score.
  13. Great fish & story as well. Congrats.
  14. I think he might have learned a little from me but the pose was strictly roadwarrior worthy.
  15. Yes sir bay of quinte up in Picton Ontario. We had 25K to 35K winds each day but that day. Windest week I have ever had in Canada.
  16. Had a buddy up for two days of smallie action with a bonus lake trout or two. We headed up to Canada for a week of chasing walleye after that. Smallie went 6-5. Lake trout 13lbs & the walleye measured 33.25x17 girth at 11lb-13oz. Fun fishing.
  17. Steve, my wife loved it. I hadn't read the descripition so I didn't know it was a cat until taco turned around.
  18. Hey Ken your buddy is one heck of a good photo shooter!
  19. You haven't lost your touch Chris. Keep em coming.
  20. The way those guys hit & start pulling drag kinda gives them away. I didn't think it was a smallie as much as a trophy steelhead that didn't want to jump. First time I have caught a lake erie laker so I wasn't expecting them. They are gas.
  21. Nice largie A-Jay. Keep pacing. There's a bigger one coming.
  22. Beauties! Actually it is just starting to get hot up here.
  23. CWB was using a rapala dives to 15 & I was using a rapala deep diver husky jerk..
  24. I thought we were bass fishing. Darn lakers moved in shallow from deep water haunts & might have moved the bass deeper. These guys were a gas on light bass tackle. Added another pic from yesterday.
  25. Robert will do that to you.
