  1. personally, the booyah pigskin jig works better for me, i'm gonna try the mop jigs when the water warms some more, and i use a sweet beaver for a trailer on the pigskin jig. bassmaster had a good article on the mop jig in january i think, but i think alton jones used a yum super chunk for a trailer
  2. depending how thick it is i would use a zara spook puppy, not sure if the puppy or the jr is the smaller one, but thats what i would use.
  3. hello, got some bucktail jigs, was wondering if you use trailers and what kind, hoping to catch some smallies, tia
  4. thats amazing, the first picture looks like a ledge, by the looks of the shadow, cant wait for my 898 to arrive,

  6. how about these crawfish http://www.kitterytradingpost.com/product.php/pid/104/sid/596/tid/2333/prodid/13876
  7. Not sure what the guys fishing the Classic were using but most I saw were fishing the lure fairly slow. I use a 6:1 myself and speed up or slow down accordingly. There are a lot of variables besides the gear ratio that could explain why you didn't catch anything on your Red Eye Shad such as time of year, depth the fish were holding, water temp and clarity, colar of lure, etc. Lipless cranks are fish catching machines, they just have there time and place. Don't give up on 'em i was using the chrome with blue/back, was about 15-18 feet deep and i was ripping it through the weeds, it was in august, but you are right i just need patience, i did notice how slow they were fishing this lure, cant wait till iceout.
  8. been watching the classic and these guys are crushing the bass on these, what are they using, i used the red eyed shad but never caught anything on it, i was using a 6;3 -1 ratio. tia
  9. just curious to see how everyone did on this board, i feel bad for duckett, but i did get 4 guys in the top 13, with kvd, ike, swindle, and russ lane, and thanks again glenn and everyone involved setting this fantasy fishing up, this really is fun
  10. ike or swindle, if i'm not mistaken he had a pretty good lead at lay lake before he got disqualified, he's had a pretty tough couple of years, and he was coming on pretty strong towards the end of last year
