  1. Do you need the seat or the frame?
  2. Use a fiberglass repair kit. I repaired a hole the size of a softball years ago and it never leaked a drop. Ken
  3. I cleaned the area with vinegar before applying. Stayed on for five + years and never a problem. Ken
  4. Welcome. Try Lake Purdy.
  5. I covered a piece of 5mm luann with outdoor carpet stapled to the plywood and it has worked great for three years.. Ken
  6. Corey I could be wrong, but, I don't think you have to have a boaters' license for a trolling motor powered craft. I would go to a 45 to 55 on your trolling motor. Ken
  7. I would use an outdoor carpet adhesive. Ken
  8. Take a look at the Fishing Buddy by Hummingbird. It mounts on the transom like a trolling motor and has a built in transducer. I used one on my 12 ft. jon for several years and now use it on my Bass Raider. It is powered by 6 AA batteries. I normally change batteries once a year. Ken
  9. I would use fiberglass cloth and resin and hardener. I have used it in the past and it worked very well.
  10. I fished Monday and Tuesday in 20 to 30 mph winds in my Bass Raider. Three bites Monday, 1 bite Tuesday, no fish. It was the first time out with my new Minn Kota Endura Max 55 and I Love it. I have it on the back with a rudder attached and a 28# on the front. I can normally go into a 10 mph wind with my 28# intermittently on 1. There were times Monday I was running into the wind on 5 and going backwards. I hate the wind too. Ken
  11. I would use fiberglass cloth and resin and hardener. I have used it in the past and it worked very well.
  12. I think molly is a generic term. There is an anchor available at Lowes that is made to be used on hollow core doors. It works great on fiberglass showers and BR's. I don't know if I can explain it without demonstrating it, but, here goes. Drill the specified size hole. Insert the anchor with the screw into the hole. Tighten the screw as tightly as possible by hand. Remove the screw, leaving the anchor installed in the boat. Use the screw to attach your accessory to the anchor. Hope this helps. Ken
  13. I have a 45 on the back and a 28 on the front.
  14. Build one from PVC. Or what I have done is mount a piece of plexiglass to my trolling motor shaft. I have a 28# thrust on the front an a 45# thrust on the back (with the rudder).
  15. I would use fiberglass cloth to repair the bottom. Had a hole once the size of a softball and repaired it with a double layer of fiberglass. Never leaked afterwards.
  16. I have one spinning reel, don't even remember the brand. I'm not very accurate with it. I have 15 or 16 spincast combos. All are Zebcos. I have fished with them in a few tournaments(and even won one). Caught my pb at Guntersville on a Zebco 33 Platinum. It makes my brother wonder how I outfish him with a Zebco combo and a crankbait that was received with the combo. Up against his $200+ outfits. I can cast very accurately with my little Zebcos, and have never had a problem landing a fish. Ken
  17. You can purchase padded seats very similar to the ones included with the boat @ Academy. Not familiar with a battery under 30 lbs. I purchased a 24 series at Autozone and it's about 42 lbs, Best battery I've ever owned. Fish 4 - 5 hours and only use about 25% of charge.
  18. I don't think an adhesive will hold due to the temperatures and the expansion and contraction. I would use a rivnut. Ken
  19. I think the Pelican Bass Raider would fit your needs. Will fit in the back of a pickup. 4 feet wide, so you can stand and fish. Works great with a trolling motor or two (one front and one back) or a small outboard. $499 @ Academy. There is a very long thread in this forum on the Raider. Several hours of reading. Ken
  20. Green pumpkin with black tail slider worm
