Shaving
I usually just buy whatever 2-3 blade disposables are on sale and shave in the shower. Get a decent fog-free mirror and go at it. I don't bother with shaving creams, gels, or lotions, either. I buy a big bottle of cheap conditioner (usually Suave) and use that. It's like $1 a bottle and it's as slick as goose crap so the razor just glides along my face. I only shave 3-4 times a week, unless I have an appointment or interview. I'm generally at home, school, fishing, or at the park watching my kids play baseball so being clean-shaven isn't all that important.

Need Some Br Wisdom
In many states mobile home mortgages are different than "stick-built" home mortgages and are actually more like auto loans. If it's a new home (or one bought through a mobile home broker), the paperwork will usually state that the buyer is the one who will be living in the home and it is not to be leased/rented/sublet for the duration of the loan. Perhaps this is what "the loan guy" was talking about?

Need Some Br Wisdom
I'm afraid this may be the best advice I've seen on here in a long time. If you two are already fighting and in counseling, and you're going to be gone for a while...well, let's just say that old adage “absence makes the heart grow fonder” isn't necessarily true for the wives/girlfriends of guys stationed overseas. I've seen it far too many times amongst my friends and coworkers.

Mitchell 300 And Pflueger Pres
If the 308Xe I owned was any indication of the overall "smoothness" of their lineup, there's something seriously wrong with your Sedona. The Mitchell was a decent little reel that managed to pull several bass out of my weedy local ponds, but "smooth" is definitely not a word I'd use to describe it. Out the two I'd definitely go with the President. Another decent (and smooth) reel in that price range is teh Pflueger Trion GX-7. They run about $40 and (imho) blow the 300Xe out of the water in smoothness and overall build quality.

Just Picked Up New Pflueger President
Heck yeah it's nasty. The wooden knob is the only thing that has kept me from owning a President. I've owned a few Supreme MG's, a Supreme XT, an Arbor, a President XT, and four Trion GX-7's in the past couple years, and the only reason I bought the Trions was because they were dirt cheap. I just couldn't shell out the $60 for a reel with a wooden knob.

Citica 200E Issue?
I had drag issues with a brand new Citica 200e a couple years ago, but my problem was just the opposite of yours. On mine, the drag wouldn't back off fully. It was very difficult to strip off line, even at the lightest drag setting. I bought it from a dealer on Ebay, so Shimano wouldn't warranty it. I wound up selling it to a local guy, and yes, I told him about the issue.

Just Picked Up New Pflueger President
It's about time they got rid of that nasty wooden knob on the Presidents. I may pick one up for my travel rod to replace the Trion GX-7 that's currently mounted on it.

I'm Outta Here!
I don't know about that. My father-in-law keeps leaving that nasty Coors Light crap in my fridge every time he visits. I'd be willing to trade that canned urine for just about anything...even somebody's crabby old lady.

Kia
If room is what you're after, I'd strongly suggest test driving the Scion xB. It's built on the Corolla platform, but has more interior room than the Camry. It's a true five passenger car, and our salesman (who was about your size) had no problem fitting in the back. It's also running the proven Camry engine and transmission, so it's surprisingly quick for a box. Kiplinger named it a "2011 Best New Car Value: Best Resale Value Under $20,000" http://www.kiplinger.com/tools/slideshows/slideshow_pop.html?nm=BestResale2011&page=2 It also made Car and Drivers list of the ten quickest cars under $20,000 in 2009 http://www.caranddriver.com/features/08q4/the_quickest_cars_of_2009_less_than_20_000-feature We bought a left-over 2010 RS 7.0 for my wife a few months ago, and she loves it. Looks like this one, with different wheels...

Yup. There's a reason I've spent most of the day working in the yard, and it doesn't have anything to do with curb appeal.

Buying Older Stuff Brand New
If you're like me, and routinely sell your rods and reels off after a few months, you're going to take a beating on any discontinued rod/reel unless you can pick it up for dirt cheap. There's no way I'd pay full price for it when I can get the current (most likely improved) model for the same price.

Red Hook For T Rig
I have several packs of red worm hooks and have used them on mumerous occasions, but haven't noticed any difference in strikes. If you like 'em, use 'em. If not, don't. The only reason I have them is because they kind of fell out of favor a couple years ago, so I was able to pick up a bunch of packs on clearance.

I spent a good bit of time looking for the little red crank without any luck. As much as I like and respect Hank Parker, at a certain point, it ceases to be worth the effort for a couple DVDs.- Bait Monkey Powers Almost Too Powerful
I've been thinking about unloading a buch of stuff as well. I have bunches of cranks (lipped and lipless) and jerkbaits that just don't get used, along with tons of tubes and soft plastics I bought thinking that I'd like them...but I just don't for one reason or another. Might be time to dig out the digital camera and start taking pics.- Japanese Bassing

Many years ago I worked as a custodian in a city bus terminal in Manchester, NH. We had a customer who rode the bus from Nashua, NH to Manchester (~20 miles) a few times a week. Every time I saw him he was listening to his portable CD player, buying snacks out of the vending machine, or walking to/from the music/comic store on the next block. One day I happened to be on the other side of town running some errands, and who do you suppose I saw standing at a busy intersection with a "Will work for food" sign? Since the intersection was nowhere near a grocery store, lots of people would just hand him cash while they were waiting for the light to change. This scumbag was making enough money to afford a weekly commuter pass, CD's, video games, over-priced snacks out of the vending machine, comic books, etc., just by standing at an intersection holding a sign.- Stainless Steel Guides
I have a HiPower, and while I don't like the guides, there's no denying the weight difference between them and a set of Hialoys or something similar. I have a Ryobi Zauber 1000 on mine spooled with 30# PowerPro and am not all that concerned with guide wear. If anything, I may have to replace the tip top guide a little sooner than I would if it were a set of Alconites or something, but I'll worry about that $10 when/if it becomes an issue. If it happens during the first year, I'll take the rod to BPS and exchange it for a new one. If it lasts over a year, I will have gotten my money's worth out of it and won't mind spending the $10 for a new tip.- Street Magic.
No doubt. At $50 a pound, you have to sell drugs in order to be able to afford it. - Where Do I Join?
