Walmart Stores Are Told Not To Order Any Ammo Until Further Notice
That's funny. I can get .17HMR, .243, and .270 just about anywhere around here, but that's about all that's left on the shelves. I think I'm all set on .223/5.56 and 9mm for a while, but I'd like to get my hands on a few more boxes of .308

Escape From New York
I spent 13 miserable years in AL, so I'd scratch that one off the list...but the rest look good, especially parts of FL. Two words for you: peacock bass

Escape From New York
Georgia has decent weather most of the year, fishing year 'round, lots of four legged creatures to shoot at (deer, pigs, coyotes, etc), little/no road salt, maybe a few inches of a snow a year (and they close the roads when it happens), and it's a very gun friendly state. Atlanta is like the NYC of the South.

Home Defense And Collateral Damage
I don't know about the .45 Glaser, but the 9mm Glaser tested http://www.theboxotruth.com/docs/bot4.htm'>HERE had no problem penetrating 6 layers of drywall.

Pmag Availability?
Nope, not looking for them at all. I'm content with my USGI mags, and I have enough (along with spare springs, followers, and baseplates) to last me a lifetime. Personally, I find the whole thing kind of funny. The panic buying drove the price through the roof, and I was able to sell off a couple dozen really scruffy looking USGI mags for a rather hefty profit. I kept plenty of extras for myself and my boys, and only got rid of the worst ones.

Quantum Energy Pt Rod?
I had one of the older Energy PT spinning rods, and it was a nice rod for the money. Very light, senstive, but a little lighter in power than I was expecting.

New Bps Bionic Blade
If you go to the site and search for "bionic", it'll pull up both versions. I'm sure that was intentional. There are a lot of folks who won't (or can't) shell out $100 for a rod. The new BB Micro will let them have the same look, at a much lower price.

New Bps Bionic Blade
I guess someone at BPS actually reads the reviews. The previous version of the Bionic Blade received a lot of negative reviews due to BPS' decision to switch from a full cork grip to a foam split-grip and the aluminum nut on the reel seat. I see they have now divided the BB into two different lines: standard (with full cork grips) and micro (with foam split grips). Smart move.

Cheap Crankin' Stick
Give it a shot, especially since it won't cost you anything.

Need New Bass Reel
I find it even more interesting that nobody thought to ask the OP if he was looking for a baitcast or spinning reel before making suggestions. There's no way I'd pay that much for a used Citica. I bought a brand new one for less than that, back when the 200e was the current model.

What Color Braided Line Do You Use?
Yellow Power Pro with no leader. I've tried it both ways and I haven't noticed any reductions in the quantity of bites, so why bother with the leader?

Cheap Crankin' Stick
For the money, an Ugly Stick actually makes a decent crank rod. They're not suitable for soft plastics or anything requiring senstivity (imo), but they make darn fine crank rods, they're cheap, and tough as nails.

I use my Amazon wish list all the time, but mine is all books and fitness equipment.

Favorite Casting Reel For Weightless Senkos
This^^^ According to my little digital scale, a 5" Senko and 3/0 ewg hook weighs about 3/8oz, which is about the same as a 7" Powerworm, 1/8oz bullet weight, and 3/0 ewg hook. Don't assume a soft plastic lure is "light" just because it's weightless.

Emmrods
The only one I have is the one in the pic I posted. I've used it for catfish and panfish, so the only things I've cast with it (besides practice plugs in the yard) are worms (live) and stinky ball-type catfish baits under a slip bobber.

How Do I Send A Pm To John Francho?
- Emmrods
Mine doesn't cast bad, but it's a completely different technique than you'd use for a "normal" rod. The ability to easily slingshot your lure/bait into tight spots is pretty cool, though.- Are You A Sheep Or Sheepdog?
- Having A Tough Time
Do what's right (and you already know what that is), and live your life with a clear conscience. Also... Be the man, husband, and father you wish your dad had been, so your kids don't have to feel what you're feeling right now.- Emmrods
I guess you and I have different views on recreational fishing and the Emmrod. I've owned mine for at least a year and a half now and have caught a bunch of fish on it, but to me, a rod/reel combo that lacks sensitivity isn't suitable for what I consider recreational fishing. Feel free to invest in a setup of your own and form your own opinion, though.- Emmrods
They offer several different tip sections with varying numbers of coils to cover a wide range of fish. The one in the pic above is a bit heavy for panfish, but fine for small (2-8lb) catfish. For me, it's more of a survival or camping tool than a rig for recreational fishing. The tip section detaches from the handle quickly, and can be spun around and slipped over the foregrip to make a very compact package that will easily fit in any backpack or under the seat of the car/truck along with a tiny Plano box of terminal tackle. You're not going to snap the tip off of it or lose the insert out of the guide, even if you drop it on asphalt and jump up and down on it. Team it with a bullet-proof reel like an old Abu Ambassadeur, and it ought to last forever.- Emmrods
Based on my experiences with my own Emmrod Packer, they either have a different definition of "sensitivity" than I do or they're flat-out lying. It's a spring that's attached to the handle with a twist-lock. The sensitivity can't even be compared to that of an Ugly Stick. Like I said earlier, they're fine for bobber fishing and great for backpacking/camping, but I'd definitely pass on them for any sort of "sport" fishing.- Emmrods
I think they're great for any type of fishing where sensitivity isn't an issue, but I'd never use them for bass. I did manage to land a couple good size catfish on mine, though.- Tried The New Vendetta?
Fixed.- Questions From My 4Yr Old.
It's amazing how quickly they go from wanting to know everything, to thinking they know everything. Enjoy it while it lasts. - Emmrods
