A video for a floating version should be up soon and i believe the floater will be out to the public soon to along with more patterns. And they are looking real good!
  2. I cant take credit for the photofinish it is done by Swimbaits Inc and he does an amazing job!
  3. Here is a crappie pattern on my swimbait i have been working on this one is also a floating model which im pretty excited about.
  4. check alumilites site they show making the molds and pouring resin (not with lures but it helps alot)
  5. I designed it and now SBI makes and sells them. oh thats really cool! so i guess they made a production mold of it. are all of their baits made this way? I am not positive but i believe most of their baits are molded but maybe not all of them?
  6. I designed it and now SBI makes and sells them.
  7. I believe Big M sells his and they all look great not sure about others.
  8. alumilite makes a mold putty that handles some lead pouring and might be easier depending on what you are doing.
  9. Here is a video of my bluegill swimbait in action let me know what you think.
  10. Really like both the gill paintjobs
  11. 5/0 hook is plenty and not the widegap ones
  12. megastrike should stay on but i don't use it on faster moving baits
  13. Where is the icast coverage from BR? i dont see it on the main page or is it not up yet?
  14. There is also the 6in bbz and 5in tru tung and a soft version of the sebile magic swimmer
  15. Do you seal the wood before the paint and topcoat? I have heard the slammer has a sealer that is soaked into the wood so the paint or topcoat coming off wouldn't affect it much at all.
  16. I say make sure it is sealed really well so the wood doesn't soak it up. The paint isn't that important but the bait lasting a long time is.
  17. A lot of time i find bass in the same spots as the gills
  18. well they swim good right now and i havn't made one without the tail built like that so i don't know the affect. Although i am planning on making one with a fiber type tail
  19. My favorites are the ones i make. But out of ones u can buy its gonna be the mattlures hard gill.
  20. Here are a couple patterns on my small sunfish swimbait.
