P_Rock Ark I agree with everything you said and appreciate the kind tone of the reply. I don't want to make this sound as if I am feeling sorry for you because I don't want to be disrespectful. However please know that as a fellow fisherman and human being in general I hope that you will be around for another 30+years. I have spoken to muddy as he reached out to me when I joined this forum and was very supportive. A quality individual for sure. I think this thread touched me because of my Grandfather and Father. My Grandfather loved to fish and golf. Prior to his retirement he had a stroke and was paralyzed. He has since passed. There were no support mechanisms for him and to be honest I don't know if he would have reached out. My father has severe diabetes and all the things that go with it. He still fishes but I know that it gets hard for him sometimes. You and Avid and the others did a wonderful thing with this thread. I don't know if I will ever be able to get my father to utilize this but I will try. Again thank you.
  5. Me to! It's been awhile for him.
  6. Byron Velvick leads with 25# even.
  7. You are holding it too close. That is an Orlando Wilson 6lbr.
  8. Exactly. And a super dink is smaller than your 4" Senko.
  9. I am sitting here in my office watching the Blue Angles practice for the Air Show this weekend. Awesome! Noisy as hell though and I can't help but wonder how much they pay for fuel?
  10. Congratulations! This is by far the best bass fishing site on the web!!

I never had a chance to meet or talk to Avid as he quit this forum just as I had joined. Aside from Diabetes and a little High Blood Pressure I don't really have anything that keeps me from fishing. I think Avid was very courageous as well as many of those who have contributed to this thread. By reading some of the testimonials in this thread I hope Avid realizes how much he has helped some of these members. I also hope that some of the members that know and were friends with him will keep this thread going until hopefully Avid decides to rejoin us. As for me I think I am going to make a doctors appointment and get myself back on my medication.

  15. I pretty much visit them all but the General Forum, Tournament Talk & Everything Else are my favorites.
  16. Great job. Congratulations
  17. I'd throw the buzzbait and then work the pockets with some sort of t-rigged plastic or jig.
  18. That would be hilarious!
  19. Congratulations!
