  2. There is no doubt that water is BIG business out here. Just ask the Delta Smelt. Is there enough of a "voice" for the fisherman in So. Cal.? I don't think it would be so easy for them to close lakes here in Nor. Cal.

  10. I would love to buy American every chance that I could. But the fact is that there are quite a few countries that can make products of the same quality for cheaper.

  12. Using the jig does give the fish another option. Besides you take a chance of hanging up a jig evertime you use it.

    Thinking on this for a bit I have to agree maybe this isn't as cut and dry as I first thought. At the professional level the business side would have to be considered also. I'm not saying I would be sponsored by the banjo minnow but if I was a Merc guy I could probably learn to like a Yamaha for the right incentives. Besides loyalty works both ways. Look what Diawa did to those guys.
