  2. i have an 11 foot jon that is 45 width at the top and 32 at bottom(transom) I was wondering if i could put a small deck at the front(I'm 15 only 130 pounds)-if that helps
  3. buy eagle claw size 12 baiytholder hooks...get you an ultra light ....find a pond with shiners and chum em up with bread...rice etc. make a doughball and there you go

  6. i have a 6'6" medium power moderate fast shimano compre. Yesterday somethign terrible happened:[ My line got caught in the trolling motor..while my buddy was reeeling in about 4 or 5 pounder. The line took my rod with it and the rod got all up i nthe trolling motor. It broke off about 3 inches of the rod. So now its a 6' 3". Do you guys think i should make this my new topwater rod(it is equipped with a 7.1:1 Extreme)

  8. i HIGHLY reccomend you get an eagle cuda 168 portable it comes with a suction cup transducer which you can just suction to the bottom of your paddleboat. You can put these on any watercraft. And for 100 bucks the quality is great!

  12. i own a 10 foot aluminum jon...i decked all the floors about 3 inches higher...and i ususally fish alone i fish witht he TM up front and the battery in the very back-CENRTERED I standup and it is just fine. I am only 14 and about 125 pounds..so maybe thats why lol..... but it is stable as can be
  13. haha buzzbaits are like cheating in some of the small lkaes i fish.
  14. as a matter of fact i caught 12 today on a texas rigged zoom 6 " lizard in natural blue color. I rigged them on a 1/8 oz. gambler florida pegged sinker and a 4/0 owner worm hook(not wide gap)
  15. mines a spinnerbait too....i only use them on two bodies of water that i fish.

    I've never used a lucky craft bait. I hear so much hype about them. Do you guys really think it worth the extra money. If so, what are the advantages???
  18. i lost my bluegill colored aruka shad(7.99) yesterday...and had to retie with a color im not confident with...and killed them on it. I lose quite a bit of lures....thats why i try not to spend more than 10 dollars on a bait lol
  19. in 45-50 degrees i catch most of my fish on jigs, deeper jerkbaits, dropshots, lipless cranks, and deadsticked senkos
  20. i use the smaller size speed craw on a lot of my jigs....but i fish the super speed craw texas rigged a lot more.....let me tell you this thing has amazingaction and catches me tons of fish. I havent used the rage craw, but if has better action than the super speed craw...id be shocked lol

  22. For my jigging spoons...i prefer a 1/2 oz. hopkins (in gold or silver). I replace the hook with a number 4 owner feathered treble. I just got into the jigging spoon craze this winter and i caught a lot on them in december-feb. As far as color goes....keep it simple with gold or silver
  23. wellll....it doesnt really do much, but it protects the knot in some cases, it will give off some noise, and for some people its just a matter of confidence.
  24. id say about average...thats how much i had until a little accident last summer lol I've been catchin up well since lol
