Hot Weather Jigging
Catching a lot on jig this time of year. Many hits on the drop and swimming the jig has been deadly.

My Outing Yesterday
That's one of the great values of this board. Fat Ika is one of my go to baits and I probably might have never tried them if not for this Bass Forum. Good job on your catch.

101 For The Day
I normally guestamate on the numbers of fish I catch, but today I decided to keep a tally. The fish were active and I caught the first 72 by swimming a jig or a weighted grub. When it slowed down I had to go with a senko at times. At the end of the day I had 101, a good day.

It Makes Fishing Wonderful
It never ceases to amaze me how fishing condition can change constantly and the challenge it affords. Last week we fished a small lake. We did well until we tried swimming a small grub. The fishing exploded, more fish, larger fish, they were smashing that grub all day. Returned yesterday and the bass won't touch it. We had a good day but we had to figure them out. Love the challenge.

Will My New Reel Hold Up To Large Bass?
I have a stradic 1000 and a stradic 2500 I HATE the 1000 for bass. Main reason for me is casting. I get far better results with the 2500. I use my 1000 on a ultra light set up for trout.
