Gummy Worms-----:)
I don't know why I have been fascinated with this, but loved them as a kid, and still do. Could be a cool trailer too???? Those guys down South should give it a try and report back....pics with a Bass taken on a gummy worm will receive a free Bag from PA. Post the pic here, and I will send a delicious treat your way. Dumb I know, but would love to see what happens for those who can get out now. I won't be able to post back for a few months.

Gummy Worms-----:)
I know this may sound dumb, but I have always wondered how gummy worms/lizards would do on the water. They are a great consistancy, colorful, and would have a melting type attractant. If you put them in a Lunker sauce, and threw them what do you think might happen. I always wanted to, and may try in the Spring. Pretty cheap for the number you get, and who knows...they probably don't see many gummies down there! Any responses would be interesting.

Horrible Classic coverage
It's a shame. Imagine only being able to hear the Superbowl???? Who ever's fault it is...it just plain stinks. Show KVD's AOY footage again...that sound like a great idea to fill time. I don't care what anyone says about BASS or ESPN, or your ISP ...the whole concept of Classic coverage was BLOWN!!!!! Good thing is that I am going to Cabelas in a few hours to purchase some stuff, and gaze into the Fish Tanks....my eyes will be doing that thing ...like when people get hypnotized......AHHHHH BASSSSSSSSS. I am not in the money yet either for my work Classic pool......Double Rats! Have a Blessed Day!

Lake Champlain tips
I 'd be happy to send you some GPS spots that would produce you some fish. I fish Ticonderoga, and South, and Up to the Crown Point bridge. No secret spots, just the ones I hit when there. I will be there June 20-24. Jamie

What has made us all better bass fishermen?
Shaw Grigsby. Met him at a Bassmaster University, and it changed my life, which in turn, changed my fishing. Also, Being around good guys who love to fish, and share what they have learned over the years. Lastly, as guys always say, "time on the water". Can't forget---My wife, who allows me to follow my passion, and supports me in the occasional tournaments that I do fish. Kinda sappy...I know, but that's my story.

Favorite lipless crank
Just bought some Lucky Craft LVR's D-7's yesterday. I got the Spring Craw, and the Mad Craw. I have thrown rattle traps, but have started to get into some Lucky Craft Stuff. Bit pricy, but a small gift to me. Anyone have luck with these baits...if you say NO...They stink...I will still be psyched to thrown them. Of course the..."yeah" they rock...is always a good response to hear! THX. I don't know how new these baits are, so if they just came out, then again, claim "idiocy!" Also, my first Tackle Warehouse purchase.

Running My first Fishing Tournament--Any Advice?
Thanks- I post here (tournament) just to see what I may be doing well, and something I may have missed. I talked to a guy from DE and he said be sure to have lots of help, which I have 4-5 guys helping so far. I am excited, and am very excited about the undertaking of running a tournament. I have enjoyed others hard work, and feel the call to try and return the favor....we shall see. Thanks for the response. I hope others let me know what they think. Jamie

What did you catch your personal best on?
Bass Chump: 5 lb. 3 oz. what a first bass. WOW. I kinda relate it to shooting a 20" 10 point Whitetail the first time out hunting. What a great way to start a fishing career....Very cool. Great looking fish.

Your Best Hook?
Catch most of my plastics bass on Slider Hooks. I use the Spider Hooks 2 3/4 " I think usually 1/16th oz, and 3/8th's. They work great for most baits I use. They can bend sometimes with a larger fish, but never lost a fish to a broken hook.

Running My first Fishing Tournament--Any Advice?
I have been "called" to have a fishing tournament...so I put in all the papers, and they were accepted. Having fished pretty many tournaments, and a few years on the Fishers of Men trail, I have a general idea of what to do. The only reason I posted here was to just get any tournament directors ideas, or pit falls to avoid. The fishing tournament is related to church....name is Bass For Christ. I am not asking for discussion on that, just for things that relate to the tournament. This may limit people to enter, but it is for all, and that will be the point of the tournament, to fish and create new fellowship with guys/gals you may have not met before. I will keep it simple. Just a few questions: You can respond to whichever moves you. 1. Others ask a 50-60$ entry fee for boat. 2. 10$ Lunker fee. 3. 50/50- to be split with boat, and the other half for a "cause" program that the tournament will support. 4. Payout how many places? 5. Scale--have looked at a few ( CentralCarolina Scale Co. I think) - the wash down type. 6. Sign Up sheet---have seen other tournaments---a generic form some of you may have---that could be adapted by me? 7. Sponsors- was hoping to get a few smaller...maybe a few door prizes? 8. Weight board and magnets for all anglers for totals weighed. 9. A checking account just for the tournament series. - for sent in entry forms, etc.... - cash only at /on the day of the event. 9. Anything You suggest?? I do go to tournaments that a a bit far from my house, and can be costly, so I wanted to have something close to home, and that could both be a fishing tournament, and a way to create new "relationships" I will not be fishing I think....due to all that needs done. *** Figured this is the place for TOURNAMENT question. THX! Thanks for anything you may offer. Like I said...I was moved to have a fishing tournament, and this is the road I am traveling to. Thanks so much for anything you may have to offer. I know it will not be easy, but I felt led to this.
