I use the 1/16th or 1/8th oz. Slider Hook Spider Head. I will sometimes go up to 1/4 oz. It's cool to see an article in this months Bass Times about the Spider Head Hooks. I use others for Frogs, and other lures, but for Baby brush Hogs, and most baits I use, the Slider Hook...Spider Heads work fine. Rarely lose a bass to a hook breaking. I caught this nice Cat up at Champlain 2 days in a row...fought about 5 min. The slider head was fine....so I am not afraid of most of the bass I may catch on it.

Middle School Health and Physical Education Teacher. I have a BLAST all day, and LOVE what I do. I run a Street Hockey Club 2 mornings a week, an FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) Huddle one morning, and Fishing club on Friday afternoon. I LOVE my Job, and That's what I do.

God is GOOD!!!!! That's great news. Maybe when he returns, or kids see what has happened to him physically, they may begin to realize just the damage that their words have cause. Which I may add, probably go way deeper than any bullet could have caused. I am glad for him, and his family, as well as you, am the people that you minister to. God bless you, and we will continue to pray for his healing, and the kids of your school. $250-300. Had a new Quantum Bait Caster ($159.00) and a new rod ($100+)...and on the third cast I caught my belt and over it went...only in 13'. I wen't down with no goggles to no avail. I came back the next day with goggles, and NADA!!!!! That one hurt...but it's a fishing story I can now share to the masses!!!! Fishing Tip----HOLD ON to your rod when casting!!!! I know where my Rod is.....

My wife had a cheat sheet about 3 pages long for all the levels.....she was a bit addicted to the game for about 2 weeks or so!!!! So annoying!!!!...WAIT....that's kinda like me with fishing....Forget it, ...I LOVED that she played the GAME!!!!!

That's what's amazing....I love Buzzers, and rarely throw jigs, so I can say I stink at them because I never throw them. My partner (bass fishing) never throws buzz baits, and basically has no confidence in them. I hope to jig fish more this year, and also jerk baits...I have really grown as the last few years have gone by. That's why being on here is so cool, guys have loads of experience. A man with experience can't really argue with a man that does not...the one with no experience has just that...NO experience. I hope to grow as I throw. That's DEEP!!!!! ;D Don't miss the BUS!!!!! I second but in Copper Green Shad RC 1.5 Killed on that bait, just about everywhere! It's the one on top! Expensive, but productive. Throw near visable cover and logs, and/or rocks....SWEET!!!!! Got one stuck in my arm last year...hooked on a dock, and yanked...blam! Had to cut the barb, and pull through the other way....OUCH! Pretty darn sharp hooks though...which is great for hook-up percentages. Peace!

That's the Other Stuff...I was referring to. We learned it a certain way...and we turned out (other than our fishing obsessions, etc...) somewhat OK. Right????? Teachers can actually be reprimanded if the teach certain concepts a certain way...outside of the NEW Math curriculums. I am glad that i do not teach Math....I stunk at it, but LIFE is better in the GYM. Please, no Mr. Woodcock comments...please!?! ;D

I applaud you fellow educator. I have dealt with kids that have no clue how to do math, simple stuff...without a calculator. Give a problem, and you see 5 different ways they are doing it. I teach health, and we do a lot of calculations, etc...and it a frustrating thing to see. I especially like how they call a dice a "number cube"...paaaaleese!!!!! I do understand the point of your thread. Enjoy your career! I enjoy the kids, it's the other stuff that can drain you. Peace.

Caught a really nice fish/bass down on the Potomac a few years back on a BIG-O. The crank was coming up towards the boat, and it hit about 5 feet from the surface. It scared me, and I gave 2 more cranks, then NADA. It thrashed, so it was a fish. I will always wonder. Never caught Pike, etc...there, so sure it was a bass. just caught me off guard. Might have helped with my weight that day as well.

There are lots of opportunities in Education today should you want to step into the halls of today's schools. Just an observation.

My buddy wears that exact hat. Seems to do really well for him. Visors are great to wear, and comfortable, but do nothing for a dome burn!!!!! OUCH!!!!!!!
