A guy from another tournament caught a 11 lb. snake head. It was pretty neat to see. Here is the pic, and any responses are welcomed. A few guys in our tournament said that they caught a few this weekend to. I checked to make sure it was not a bow fin, and it wasn't. Enjoy the pic. Got my first bass of the season on the Potomac River, just about 1/2 mile South of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. Not big, but felt good when the shallow crank stopped dead. Enjoy this beast... The second is a nice 15"+ keeper I caught just below Mt. Vernon on the Virginia side. Another Manns -1 crankbait fish...felt even better than the first!! Cool!

This is a team tournament. I will pray that all teams catch a limit and have fun, and I survive the day. ( I'll throw in a kicker prayer for you and your partner) I have most thought out as of now (or so I think) but am still working on the scale issue. If I can't find one sooner or later, I will buy one for the tournament, and will use it for possible future tournaments. I am trying to keep this one simple, and then piggy back off this one the next time. Thanks for the offer, and I hope you will consider the tournament. Am holding a bass fishing tournament called "Bass for Christ". This is a Christian based tournament, with a 100% payout for top 5 places and Lunker. I will have a small gift to every team, including Hank Parkers personal testimony, and a small keychain type gift. It is my first try at a tournament, and hope if anyone is close to Lehigh Valley area in Pa, that you might drop me a line. There will be a small prayer before the tournament, and then the weigh in, and pay-out. If you are into this kind of tournament...hit me up. If not, thanks for reading. I can send you a PDF version of the registration form and rules. This lake has a 20 hp restriction, but is do able with most Bass boats and trolling motors. The tournament will be held at the Tohickon ramp and run from safe light until 2 o'clock. The goal of the tournament is to build fellowship and friendships, through competitive Bass Fishing. Hey Guys- Am holding my first tournament in July and need to get a decent fishing scale for weigh in. Anyone know anyone who: Sells them- Knows of a good brand/model- Has one for sale- or anything you may want to offer. My tournament is in July so I have time, but wanted to work on it now. Have look at the Carolina Scale Company (I think) but wanted anyones 2 cents here. Thanks in advance- Jamie

I actually had a earlier day with Alton Jones with a 7 lb. even fish. I thought someone may have beaten that fish. I think he caught that fish on day #1? Anyone know???? THX.

I am looking for the Big Bass of the tournament, and can't find it anywhere. I know they do Big Bass by the day, but I can't find the largest of the tourney. I think it was 7'6oz...or close to that, but don't know who it was. I think it came on Day #2 ( Which would have been day #3 officially) If you could help...I' greatly appreciate it. I kinda like the idea of Fishing parties...kinda like the Lady Jewelry parties, only for Lures and stuff for the guys. Imagine going around to guys houses, having a few coldies, and holding "Fishing Tackle Parties" Whose in? " Bass Pro...On the Go?" If Bass Pro picks up on this...I want Royalties....... Kinda Cool....you can admit it!
