Drop Shot Reel Under $150.00
Thanks-----The plot thickens....and I get more excited. Also, I could use the rod for finesse plastics as well, correct? Texas Rigged, worms, right? Not JUST drop shotting. What I am saying, is this going to be a set up that could have more than just the drop shotting function. THX

Drop Shot Reel Under $150.00
Thanks---with the NEW BPS catalog here, I am overwhelmed with the selection of reels and rods to choose from. This is my one "new" objective for the season, so I want to get a nice set up, and not break the bank. Thanks- Happy New Year- Jamie

Drop Shot Reel Under $150.00
What reel would you guys recommend for a drop shot set up, for a reel under $150.00? Thanks- Jamie If you'd like to include a (under $100) Rod to match it with, that'd be great also.

Moving a Refrigerator---?
Saw this on the way to my in-laws the day after Christmas. I thought you might enjoy the pic. I for one have never seen such a display of creative moving engineering. I removed the license plate (photo shop), in case you are wondering. Thoughts and comments welcomed.

lake champlain fishing spots ill trade you
Can you see 50 boats there in the wee hours of the morning?????? It's not major deep there either (that I remember), so they better make sure a well marked/cleared channel is made.

Quit the chew: cost me a fortune
When my jaw falls off I might quit? Is that what you really mean? I don't chew, (tried once, got sick as a dog), but do teach about it's harmful consequences to my Middle School students. If any of you do chew, I hope you can quit. I'd hate to see any of you have to go through what this guy has endured. Good Luck http://www.gloucestercitynews.net/clearysnotebook/2009/06/httporalcancernewsorg-chewing-tobacco-is-very-dangerous-a-man-who-lost-part-of-his-face-to-cancer-says-smokeless.html

Bass Resource-Regional Seminars
The distance for the road trips is too much for me personally, so unless they make their way closer, then all I can do, is live through all of your cool stories, pics, and videos. I wish I were closer.

Bass Resource-Regional Seminars
I bet guys/gals here could run one heck of a seminar series. It's tough because we are all spread out, but regionally, it could be a really cool/informative concept. Just wanted to hear your thought. There are so many here that I learn from, and I am sure a "seminar" list (of information sessions) would quickly fill up with speakers and information topics. With all the networking that goes on here. I am sure that this could be a cool reality eventually. General thoughts?

Zoom Brush Hogs
I use (baby brush hogs) with 1/8th or 1/4 oz. Slider: Spider Head Classic hook (2 1/8th" long) and Texas rig with some Jacks Juice(crawfish)...you won't miss many bass....that's a fact. I use with 8-10 lb. fleurocarbon and spinning tackle...it's a MINT set up. **** I use the BABY brush hogs...fits the hook the best- and if you get a tap, you will land the bass 95% of the time. ( not a scientifically proven statistic, just randomly grasped from the air really. But, they will catch you fish.)

Maryland's Who's who!
Having fished the Potomac during the warmer months, I have never considered fishing it now, or in January. First, is fishing the Potomac now, dooable, and 2nd, if it is, then where? No hot spots needed, just general thoughts. Would love to make a little road trip, should the weather balance out. Thanks for any thoughts- jamie

Thanks. She's my ANGEL. We have had a fun day. Made soup, played in the snow, and will finish the night with the movie "UP" and some popcorn. What an awesome day! Hope you all enjoyed the day in the snow. It's still going strong here.

If you had the chance to sit down with one professional angler 1 on 1 and honestly talk FISHING...
Shaw Grigsby. He's an AWESOME guy with an amazing testimony. We'd have a lot to talk about, and maybe we'd talk fishing too. Maybe we'd catch a few "Big Ol' Pigs"... If he was busy, I'd call up IKE and just watch him fish all day, and recount his amazing catches and accomplishments over the years.

I live in Berks county, Pa, and if that map is right we could get up to 19 inches???? I'll believe that when I snow blow it. Either way, cool map! Jamie

The Christmas Exchange Thank You Thread
Fishin Hard sent me a classic 3 hook Zara Spook- "Zell Rowland" edition. He said that is was more rare that I might have thought. It was avery thoughtful gift, and I can't wait to throw it. I told him I can't wait to send him/post a pic with the gift lure he sent me. What a fantastic gift, and a great gift exchange idea. Thanks so much to "Fishin Hard" and to RedlineRobert for organizing this whole exchange. It was cool! Merry Christmas everyone!
