Ok, so my wife and I want to do an all inclusive vacation for our 10 yr anniversary (in 2010), but we are starting to research so we know how much we need to save between now and then. Does anyone have experience with any of the resorts, like Sandals, Couples, etc? We want couples only, no kids, basically more of a relaxing trip than an excursion filled one. Looking at the Caribbean, we have been to Ocho Rios on our honeymoon, so would like to go somewhere else other than Jamaica.

You can try DVD Fab HD, I know that I can copy and burn DVD's but I am not sure if the free version will burn them or not. You can also use it to convert DVD's to formats for phones, Ipods, etc.

I agree with Glenn as well, a smartphone without a data plan is like having a really fast car, but only being able to drive it in first gear, pretty pointless. I really didn't think that I would get enough use out of a data plan on my new LG Dare, but after having it, I couldn't go without. It is not just about being able to surf the net, but using the navigator, email, etc. If you are looking for cheap phones without a contract, check Craigslist. I have found and bought several phones from there here in KC, I would suggest though making the exchange at a cell phone store, that way you are ensured that you are not getting a stolen phone, or anything like that. There are always people upgrading phones, switching carriers, etc, that need to sell their old phone for less than it would cost to get a new one without a contract.

Trade yours in for a PS3 so I can play too. I have COD4 and no one to play with. I hopefully will have my PS3 on Wed. and COD4 shortly after that. I have only played Socom 3 online a couple times and GRAW once online, but want to get COD4 and SoCom:Confrontation for online play.

Well, I returned the Xbox today because I found a PS3 at Circuit City. So now I just have to wait until Wednesday for it to arrive. I will either get COD4 or wait until SoCom:Confrontation comes out in October.

Probably will, I keep hearing it is an awesome game. Did you get the 200 or $300 version? The reason I ask is COD4 has some of it's downloadble content half off this weekend. That's if you decide to play online. Even if you don't COD4 is awesome and should blow your mind. I got the 60 Gig version, it was $299. I just need to find my network cable to connect to the internet so I can go online.

Well, I bought a 60 Xbox today. I bought Madden for it and will probably get a shooter soon, GRAW2 or something along those lines. Circuit City didn't have the PS3 in stock and Sony is changing configuration of the PS3 so they probably won't get anymore at the cheaper price, so I decided to get the Xbox.

Ok, with the Xbox 360, has the Red Ring of Death issue been fixed? Keep n mind that I rarely play online, so that is not much of a concern. I do however like the fact that IF I do decide to play online, it is free with PS3 and not with 360.

does anyone know if it is possible to download new classes with NCAA football? Meaning, next year when there are new players for the teams, can you download them and incorporate them into the game?

I should have put the asterix behind the question that the games needs to be rated no worse than Teen, not from my standpoint, but I can't or don't want to play shooter/violent/gory games when my 2 yr old and 5 yr old will see them. I personally would love to get COD4, but it would really limit when I could play it, like only when they are in bed or napping.

Ok, so I bought a new tv and I have to return it because the HDMI inputs don't work. I think I bought too big of tv for my view space, so I am going to buy a smaller one, and since it it cheaper than the original, I am going to use the difference to buy a PS3. What game should I buy with it? I have a several games for my PS2 but I am not really very good at any of them, so I am going to get just one game for the PS3 and really focus on becoming good at it before I buy any others. I am leaning toward either MLB 2008 the Show, Madden 09, or NCAA 09. Any suggestions?

Nope, mainly Madden, NCAA football, MLB, Ghost recon and such. Thats about it for my game play.

Along the lines of the argument of Xbox 360 vs. PS3, the only major difference I can see is the addition of a blu-ray player in the PS3. I am not a big movie fan, so that really doesn't mean much to me. I don't play online much if ever so is it really 6 one way and a half a dozen the other regarding the two consoles?

Cool, I will try that, I just didn't want to spend a lot of money on the PS2 since I really want either a PS3 or X360, probably the PS3.

Ok, so it is just the nature of the beast, using an outdated game console on a new TV? I guess I need to start saving pennies to get a PS3.

Hey guys, I have a question. I have a PS2 that I have been using on my 30 in HD tube tv, but I bought a 47in LCD this weekend. The new tv is 1080p and the PS 2 looks like crap. It is really fuzzy and you can barely read any of the text on the screen. Is this a matter of the PS2 not being able to put out high enough resolution or is this a tv issue? I plan on getting a PS3, but it won't be for several months at the earliest. Any suggestions other than getting a PS3?

I worked at the Olathe, Kansas one before it was open for a few weeks. I will echo the comments of the discounts being pretty good, but also plan on working holidays, including Thanksgiving Day, and all the other ones as well. I quit because it was supposed to be a second job for me after my normal 40 hour/week job, and they were scheduling me 35-40 hours a week P/T, now granted the store was being prepared for opening, but if just couldn't handle TWO 40 hours/week jobs at the same time. You might want to PM Senko77, I think he used to work at BPS as well, and if I remember right, he didn't have the greatest experience with the job either. I don't want to be the rain on the parade, but my opinion is that they will work you as many hours as they can. You will either do it or they will find someone who is willing to, they know there are hundreds of people that would love to work there so they are definitely not afraid of good employees quitting.

Nice, how is that lake producing right now? My dad is coming to town this weekend and I want to take him somewhere that is producing fair good, we haven't had a lot of luck whenever he comes down to fish. I have never had much luck out there, but then again I haven't taken my boat out there, I have only fished it from the bank.

I noticed on my St Croix rod that one of the eyes is broke off, it is the third one from the top. How difficult is it to repair myself and how would I go about doing it?

thanks for the relpies, I turned it upside down and most of the water drained out the same way it entered, through the opening for the internal wiring. I don't think that i got it all, but I got most of it out, at least from the weight of the boat it feels like I got it mostly out.

To those that have these types of boats, I have a couple questions. I left the cover off my boat for a few days and unfortunately, it was the days that rained like a banshee and now I found that I have water inside the boat, between the hull and the floatation foam. First off is there any way to get the water out, and secondly, will it affect the floatability of the boat? Will I still be able to fish with two people in the boat even with the added weight of the water?

Only had aoout and hour and half on Thursday, but still caught a limit. Nothing huge but in the 1-2 pound range.
