  2. Hello all BR users. I would like to give a special thanks to some members who either put up with me or I got great info from them over the weeks. Glenn- Thanks for making a great forum and keeping me on track and dealing with me. Roadwarrior- I have really appreciated your advice and tips. Wayne P.- Thanks for the great fishing rig for bass. Bassinboy- Helping with ABC and last but not least senok77 for his stories getting me into the mood of look for tournies. If anyone else would like to add a thanks go right ahead!

  5. Really, I still know the nice stuff is great but I dont know what I would do without my Daiwa Shock. Oh, wait yes I do, Id go to GanderMtn and buy another!
  6. Anyone notice how the cheap stuff ends up being your favorite? I have alot of nice, expensive gear but my cheapest rod and reel combo was 15.00. Daiwa Shock. It is my favorite reel. I can cast 100 feet no problem with a jig. (not sure exactly, im not a person who has measured my casts, YET!) Anyone else notice how nice the cheap stuff is?

  18. I just got done yesterday taking and passing the MN one (same thing) missing 10 and getting my permit.
  19. What kind of bait would that be? Im catfishing tomarrow and need some stuff. Will balloon bobbers work for catfishing?
  20. I put basic grubs on mine after Pike bite off the tail. Thats how I caught my 6lber. Chatter bait, 8lb test, Ultra Light rod. It was soo much fun!
  21. Thanks guys. After I looked at the monitor and it said "You Passed!" I just about fell on the floor. I was so confident at the beginning until I started taking it. And tomarrow is opener. I wake up at 3:30am and head out the the horseshoe chain of lakes, for an all dayer. And my dad said I can drive for the whole day If I got my permit, AND I DID!! Wooooooooooo!!!!! I don't know about in MN, where the original poster is from, but here in Maryland you need to do this: http://www.boat-ed.com/md/index.htm Just for fun, try the practice test right off the bat. You may be surprised at what you DON'T know! Yep, its the same. It said somewhere on the MN DNR page that boated is in like 48 states. It was an extremely hard test.
