  1. X2 He put alot of time in on that lake, he caught it twice and made the record books. He even admited it was foul hooked and he didnt put it in as a world record. Thats one honest man
  2. It wasa little bay to the left of mattawoman creek near DC. I fished the creek for the few days after that lol
  3. Beautiful fish!
  4. Between four and five pounds. I caught a couple last week around that size and they were anywhere from 3 lbs 15 oz. to 4 lbs 12 oz. I carry a scale with me now lol, its nice to have around. I think I'm getting better at wieght guesstimation too because of it too 8-)
  5. lol everyone hates it, but they do beat you sometimes. I'll spend 20 mins on a bed if they dont show any interest I move on
  6. That's from fanning the bed. X2 for both comments lol
  7. H bay in james creek is a great boat launch. This time of year If you're looking for spawners check out a few coves and points, some of the smallies spawn in deeper water near drop offs but thats a gamble if you want to try it. Good luck though! I don't fish there much this time of year but if I was going thats what I'd do, theres a great cove right across from james creek called trough run if you want to start there. But since you're already breaking your motor in try hittin up the river where it runs into the top of raystown, they might be there along the weed edges or maybe even in the weeds on the right side of the creek
  8. Thats sick dude, I can't believe anyone would do that
  9. CATCH ME A SHARK!!! lol I want photo evidence too, of the shark and the badonkadonk ;D
  10. Someone put alot of thought into pooping at work :
  11. I'd say try a longer rod
  12. I was fishing a bed today for a couple nice fish. There was probably a 5-6 lb female and a 3 lb 2 oz. male. I fish the bed for awhile, like 30 minutes, while I was looking at it and I could only get the bass to look at my bait. I moved down the bank a little bit and I skipped my shakey head up under a log to the same place that bed was and the first cast I hooked the male and the female followed it in. It is pretty unusual to see a male that big but it was really fat, I have no clue why. Too bad I didnt hook the female though that was a disappointment. Next time you see that try something you can just put in the bed and shake it in place for awhile, usually that will annoy them enough to strike
  13. X2 But when your not on the water this is the next best place. There is alot of great info on this site check it out! ;D
  14. 5 lol. I think the suspense of scrolling down helped
  15. lol thats something I'd do. But it is a sad situation and I'd never be able to look at him the same again either. I'm lucky I have the girlfriend I have now. Besides Idk how someone can handle TWO of them :-/, one is almost too much trouble ;D
  16. lol, after reading that I have determined two things 1) Stop listening to trout fishermen 2) Fish the South Branch of the Potomac
  17. I know a guy that fishes there all the time, for trout. They catch trophy trout out of those waters but they said the bass are just further down the river. I have no clue I havent fished the south branch yet

Olebiker - you went to a really legit artist if he had the courage to say come back when you're sober. I have barbed wire around my arm, but its intertwined with the hooks. Idk if its real common but I really like it. Just barbed wire is kind of plain though
  20. My thoughts exactly lol ;D
  21. 10 mile creek is a no wake zone so you can probably get away with a canoe, but I wouldnt suggest taking a canoe out on the main river. There are alot of idiots around that area with the launch ramp being right there
  22. Thanks everybody! And Tin I do have SOME friends , as unlikely as that seems lol
  23. Heres the picture I promised if anyone even remembers this topic lol
  24. I stick to my vote, ten mile
