I'm not trying to argue with you, but believe me, if you want to make it big, B.A.S.S. is the way to go. The FLW Jr. Championship is easier to get to. If you make it to the B.A.S.S., it's a bigger accomplishment. Do the research....it is so difficult to plug your sponsors at an FLW event. It's simple really. If your in it for the money, go FLW. If your in it for a career, then go B.A.S.S. If you want, I can list 10 examples of why BASS gives you more and better exposure than FLW. I agree but this arguement isnt for a forum like this. In my area theres alot of bad blood between the FLW and the BASS Federation Nation

Dude I'm sorry to hear about that, that really sucks those are some expensive things. Good luck in finding them and I hope the insurance recovers whatever else they stole

I tow my 18 ft procraft with a 95 blazer with an S-10 frame. Hasnt let me down yet. The only thing is the radiator used to get heated up but once we switched to the green coolant it stopped. Idk I never really liked fords except for the older ones, they run great

I've caught a few around mangroves using wieghted jerkbaits. From what I've gathered they're alot like bass you can use the same rods and line combos. I don't know that much though lol

Frog togs worked for about a year then they crapped out, I didnt like them too much I have gore tex now and I'll say they're really good. I have the light rainwear because you can always put stuff on underneath them. They withstand erie really well though, I'd say a wave to the face is a good test for a rainsuit ;D

I still can't believe people cheat in bass tournaments. If it really means that much to you then fish better. Cmon, nobody likes a cheater. Congratulations to the guy that called in and congratulations to the fish comission for sending guys to investigate it and bust them! I'd really like to see that happen more often

About 20 mins. I don't fish there unless its bass meeting night though. We have our meetings in the visitor center at 6:30

lol, I'm just worried about hooksets. I also hook alot in that area, I think its just how the fish takes the bait. I don't think there's anyway to prevent it, but I could be wrong

lol its small enough to almost cast across, I just walk along the bank. It's just a few acre pond is all. Same with a few others I fish like the one in lago de vida and my buddies pond. Basically most of the fish I catch are within ten feet of the bank and the bank is almost 80% accessible so walking the bank really isn't a problem. It just makes for a fun afternoon

Have you tried a wacky worm? sometimes the slow fall will get their attention. Other than that they sound really tricky

Welcome! Try a wacky worm lol. Or a shakey head. You might not catch the biggest fish in the lake but you will probably catch something!
