  1. Maybe they invested in their venture?
  2. You made a good purchase at that price point there is none better.
  3. About 8 years ago my partner and I put 212 bass in the boat at Lake Guerruro, Mexico. smallest was 2 lbs, largest was 9 lbs 3 oz.There were many in the 5-6 lbs range. Both of us caught our PB and it has never been duplicated
  4. Good job!!!!!!!! Keep on them.
  5. Good job, hair in cold water was the ticket. Oh and I believe the saying goes Cold as a Witches T_t
  6. Wow I think I might remember hitting 20,000??????????? Then again I might be too old to remember that now.
  7. Nice one
  8. Yep I am a firm believer that an attractant whether it be impregnated or added makes them hold on longer
  9. Early in the season with cold water and slow metabolism the bite is sometimes hard to detect. I am sure MegaStrike helped as they held on longer for you to feel it. You will find this to be the case throughout the year I am sure.
  10. Wow, it is possible some of them pushed 2 lbs each. Definitely they did look full of spawn. The forage on that lake has to be pleniful
  11. Ripper that is very cold water. Early in the year fish shallow on the north end of the lake hopefully on a sunny day to increase your odds. This ara will have the warmest water. Also slowwwwwwwwww down and slow down some more.
  12. wow that is outright awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Ask Big O the secret of a paper clip and Bic lighter. The baits will last a lifetime,
  14. Rage Tail but Zoom a close second.
  15. Yes that is true, many bass were caught that day by everyone. That spot the SMB came off of produced 60+ fish in 1 1/2 hours. bloody thumb time, good times. BTW that SMB was caught by Old Cranky, I just found the spot. It was caught on a trusty Wiggle Wart.
  16. LOL, if I can work it out I will come just to cook the burgers and drink beer of course
  17. It also improves the action of the bait. Allows for a pivot point.
  18. For any on the bubble, I was at the last trip to Pickwick, sadly not in the cards this year. If you like typical ledge fishing and like to catch numbers with size mixed it Pickwick is the place to do this. Pickwick resulted in some of my best fishing experiences and I have fished Mexico, Texas and Florida not to mention St Clair. Take my word for it Pickwick is callin.
  19. Will not make it this year but I am back in the game. I will definitely wait to see the photos my friend.
  20. One thing to remember with straight braid; if you are fishing in clean water, no junk be careful on hook set. I have ripped the lip on bass in clean water without cover so you may wish to modify your hook set.
  21. Terminator or War Eagle are the most rugged. If you want to fish a spinnerbait through junk like I do either will serve you well.
  22. Thanks Dwight, relocated to Cleveland so Lake Erie calls
  23. Thanks Dwight, relocated near Cleveland took a year off fishing but Lake Erie calls. This year will be different
