  1. I my self would say your crazy to go this way rather then a jon boat. but its your choice just make sure you do the research first.
  2. check your owners manual there is a thing in there that tells your your towing weight. also check local laws about electric trailer brakes if it is over a certain weight you may need them and it is also safer and easier to stop. and cheap safety to install to ensure itis safe for you , others in the vechial, and around you.
  3. go to the local boat shop and see if they carry them take a look. They look and sound really heavy to move around and such and people are saying 6hp is the minimum they would use and it still isn't enough..If I was you I would look for a aluminum jon boat which is lighter and easier to move you can get them dirt cheap used, and cheaper then this one new at a lot of places.
  4. I was using a few different things..few crank baits, spinner baits, worms, top water frog, and buzz bait. barley success with anyone of them. So i thought id restart fresh and use line dancer and bam worked. This has only been one day of fishing but it worked today. i kept switching back and forth and same results so it wasn't time of day.
  5. well i was out today...very few bites. I said hey lets try line dancer and man did it work...approx every third cast I had a fish where last time it was maybe every 20-25. so to tell you all it is NOT a waste of money and I love fishing with it now that I have tried it and kinda use to it.
  6. Hi, I was wondering if anyone has these seats in their boat from BPS? I am looking at the green and the grey but having troubles on picking which colour to get as my boat is green inside. so my question is if you have the green ones can you post a picture to show me what they look like and what the shade looks like exacully as I have seen the grey ones many times.
  7. I got them mainly for my little cousions and stuff when they are out at the trailer fishing and don't quit get the concept.
  8. I have been watching a lot of the world fishing network and Linedancer has a comercial on for 30 minutes of paid programing which is pricey which means they must sell a lot of them to make that much to pay for it. So my question is does it really work? I order some but still can't get out on the water for another 3 weeks or so and want to know if anyone has tried with and if they where successful or not.
  9. i am unsure if it is 15 thrust coukd just be a model. and the price is 50 obo.
  10. ok...thanks. i have a little out board motor but i was thinking to use it to get where i need to be and the trolling motor to just mote up and down along the weed beds and such.
  11. you can get trailer hitchs cheap at places like princess auto and install you self or go to a local garage and get them installed cheap..for hauling a snowmobile trailer and jon boat youy need only a class one which is cheap. and it will be way easier for you then your plans. unless your worried about backing it up and people laughing at you are you are worried about loading. seriously why do you care if people laugh at you? and why would they laugh at you for loading gear? just doesn't make sence to me.
  12. its a minkota 15. someone has it for sale and want to know if it has enough thrust to push my jon boat around. 12 footer. all help and replies are appreciated.
  13. All pleasure craft measuring 12 metres or less and powered by an engine 10 horsepower (7.5 kW) or more must be licensed or registered. Licensing is the normal choice for a pleasure craft. Legally and cost-wise, licensing and registration are very different legally, as well as your time and cost. A licensed boat is marked with "numbers", a registered boat with a "name and port". License requirements are listed in the Small Vessel Regulations of the Canada Shipping Act. same site you got that thing of yours from.
  14. wrong...anything with a motor bigger then 9.9 must be regestered. just called.
  15. there is no hull numbers, and i will pm it tomorrow to you.
  16. It doesn't work like that. You are in possession of the boat. If you are in waters that require a registration, you'll need to resolve the title issue and get one. Where I use my boat thats what they do....as long as you have proof that you bought it from someone and their siginature and adress then your safe.
  17. ill try...but might be a day or 2. it was used for rescue or something...on the side it it says search and rescue?
  18. has any one ever heard of a Nolco jon boat? I bought one, and want to know a bit more about it. It is 11'6" by 40" at the bottom and 48" on top.
  19. Just ask him for a bill of sale and put it in your tackel box..then if you get pulled over on the water show that and then they can deal with it that way if anything happens it comes back on him.
  20. ok so I got the boat out today the rain melted everything away. The name of it is a Nolco. never heard of that. any it measures 11'6" by 40" at the bottom and the top is 48".
  21. ok thanks.
  22. gas motor will cost more to keep running. I have a 2.5 johnson motor that I am going to sell and get an electric trolling. It cost too much to keep up, and more work to take care of. with a t/m if it isn't working it is more then likely the battery is dead and it doesn't cost any money to run the t/m if you get a solar panel to charge it .
  23. not sure of the brand it is gone as it now has search and rescue on the side so I am asuming that it at one point in time was used for search and rescue for fire department or something. As for the serial number it is in side the boat. When i get it flipped over when everything is melted ill send you it.
  24. yeah I see what your saying i don't think ill get it...i just thought hey 75 bucks why not another boat for the trailer.
