Maybe these "real" fisherman should enter some tournaments and make some money off all the 'posers'. LOL! Are you for real? I don't know where you get your information but not all tournament fisherman are bank beaters. Might want to get yourself a new source for all of your "tournament fisherman hating" needs.

This is exactly what I would do. The only real problem with buying your own boat is whether or not you are confident enough in your own skills to go out and catch bass consistently by yourself. If you are still learning about bass fishing and wanting to get involved in bass tournaments and all that, being a co-angler is about the best way to learn. You may just have to be straight up with your boater just so he knows where you stand. Not all boaters will be like that though.
