Markers are great tools for helping to understand layouts of points, humps and channels. I've thrown as many as a dozen or more markers out on a piece of structure before, just to "bring it to the surface" to where I could get a good look at it.

Its really hard to 'like' a team that could've won multiple Championships if they had just had some sign of a pulse on offense over the past decade. Instead, they let the Steelers/Colts/Patriots steal the show. It was definitely there for the Ravens taking, they just refused to grab it. You cant have a defense that holds opponents to 10 or less every game and an offense that cant even get in position to kick 3 field goals in 60 minutes time. Sad.

We're in the AFC toilet, not the NFC.....and like I said, we flushed that turd Russell and we're getting back on track. Plus, I wouldn't get too bold with the smack talk about the Raiders....they beat your mighty "Stillers' in Pittsburgh last year. That had to sting.

Now that the Raiders got rid of that codeine drinking slug Jamarcus Russell....they will rule the AFC West once again. Their journey starts tomorrow night in Dallas where they will issue the Cowgirls a preseason beatdown.

It did sound like he was setting up an excuse for that poor (although winning) performance. I was talking to a guy at work about the fight and the rib thing came up. He said thats why Sonnen was able to land some solid punches early on because Silva had his hands low guarding the ribs. But Silva does that in every fight....his hands are always low and he doesn't seem real scared to get punched. From anybody. Henderson, Davis, Forrest, Leben, Franklin...any of those guys have pure knockout power and Silva just shrugged 'em off. He's a bad dude, broken ribs or not.

Silva got handled and still won. Why in the world would he just walk away? That makes no sense. I couldn't tell that Silva had bad ribs but I didnt watch it but once. It's possible I guess but if that was the case it looks like he would've done a little more defending to stay on the feet. Sonnen was taking him down with ease. He could protect his ribs better standing up but he spent 90% of the fight on his back with Sonnen pounding him in the ribs and everywhere else. That doesn't make sense either. Oh well, Silva still has the belt wrapped around his waist....maybe GSP will be able to take it from him. If he does fight GSP, I agree with whoever said that fight will suck. All GSP's fights have sucked lately. Take 'em down, lay on 'em and hit 'em every now and then. BOOOOOOORING!

I'm with ffd. If I was in between boats I wouldn't even consider fishing as co angler for the very reasons you stated. Otherwise, you roll with the punches.
