  1. THIS. That's it. ***I heard the Lebron press conference isn't in Cleveland.*** IF that's true, why would he be holding his press conference somewhere else if he was staying in Cleveland? ***I heard that on Colin Cowherds radio show this morning. He said ESPN sent a whole group of reporters to the Lebron PC but they weren't headed to Cleveland*** Interesting...very, very interesting.
  2. They'll lose just because I picked 'em ;D The Spain/Germany game was crappy. Germany just couldn't get it going and Spain wasn't much better....except for that one corner.
  3. I called Dutch 7 days before you did
  4. I was actually referring to the 'dang i'm good' part

Yeah, the Leben/Akiyama fight was awesome. They slugged it out and were happy about it.
  6. What is this in reference to?
  7. I think BASS has the biggest # of true Elite level anglers.
  8. You never know...we could see Lebron and Bosh resurrecting the LA Clippers. Another scenario would be for Lebron to stay in Cleveland on a 3 year max deal, then go to the Nets when they move to Brooklyn.
  9. Since it was a bluegill, it only counts if it was 2 pounds or more Way to go sambro!
  10. Coincidence? I think not! I really hope his poor play was due to him chugging 'purple drank' because it's hard to believe that someone could actually be that sorry without being on something. 'Major Suckitude' would look awesome on his next jersey....assuming someone picks him up.
  11. I'd get the STX and I'd put $ up that the STX will outlast any PQ you can find. Dont get me wrong, I fished PQ's for years and they are good reels but the Revo STX is on another level.
  12. Anybody following the NBA free agent market right now? Lebron, Bosh, Wade....all looking to cash in and possibly find a new team. Any guesses where they end up? Lebron - Chicago Wade - Miami Bosh - Either Chicago or Miami I hope the Knicks get someone to dish the ball to Stoudemire or they'll be crying the blues 20 games in. Stoudemire will miss Steve Nash big time.
  13. Yes. Shade is shade. Cover is cover. Take a couple crankbaits and tweak them so that you can get them to run to the left and right. They will run right up under the docks. Senkos are almost money on floaters but sometimes the fish will chase something that falls a little faster (jig, big worm) I agree that post docks tend to hold more fish but if floaters is all thats there, they'll use them.
  14. JaMarcuzzz likes him some purple drank....and as long as he's not affiliated with the Oakland Raiders anymore I dont care what that bum does. More power to ya Russell, drank up son!

  20. This is it. When you 'think' you get a hit, pause for a second and during that pause put your line in position to where the only thing it could be is a fish. When I say put your line in position I mean to give it just enough slack to eliminate any current pull that may be causing the feel of a bite or your boat drifting and dragging your bait across or against something. You have to eliminate the things that could be causing the feel of a bite to know what an actual bite feels like. While learning this you may miss a few fish because you pause too long but if you always pay close attention to current and boat movement while you're fishing the pauses you have to take to determine a bite will get shorter and your feel will get sharper. Or you can just set the hook on anything and everything and try to figure it out that way.
  21. not always that easy. the angle of the boat ramp dictates how deep my trailer sits in the water. Yeah, a lot of people think backing their trailer deeper solves everything. Not true, all ramps are different. If you're loading you need your hull to hit the trailer so it kicks the nose up higher than the roller. If the nose doesnt get higher than the roller (like when you're backed in too deep) it presents problems and can cause damage. I found out the hard way a long time ago. Pretty much ripped my dad's Motorguide right off the front of his old Ranger.
  22. Hardy ramp is way up the Roanoke River. If you go down the lake you'll come up on some good creeks (Lynville, Beaverdam, Grimes, etc...) You can catch fish shallow early but once the sun gets up you should try to find some deep stuff to fish....deep docks if you cant find anything else....no shortage of docks around here. The more dependable bite right now is on the main channel and deep. I cant say too much, I'll be fishing that tournament too.
