  3. Yep, KVD is back on his horse carrying almost a 3# lead into the final day on Kentucky Lake tomorrow. Kelly Jordon is coming on strong though.

Diesel, here's a link to all the senko iformation you'll ever need. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1121527643
  5. That's a helluva rod for $59 bucks
  6. Lyme disease ain't no joke. Good thing you caught it early. I'd gladly miss a little fishing to avoid Lyme disease.

  8. Yeah, I'm sure it works being casted but I just cant bring myself to do it. I always throw the carolina rig in those situations. I might cast a drop shot one day but for now, I think I'll just keep dropping it......straight down. (I'm hard-headed)
  9. So you donated in your first tournament....no big deal, at least you took some good fish to the scale and beat quite a few more teams. Could've been worse. You'll get 'em next time.
  10. I'm not sure I understand the difference in an older 6.3:1 reel and a new one. A 6.3:1 is a 6.3:1. If I wasn't worried about getting worn out pulling a 20 ft crankbait with a high speed reel, I surely wouldn't worry about a lighter rod wearing me out?? :-?

  15. Required? No, of course not. But if you're planning to crank deep for long periods of time, I'd use the Curado 5.1....with the 7' MH Kistler

I like the Jackall 3/32 oz wacky weedless head the best for all of the Flick Shake sizes. Here's a link to a recent thread about how they are used. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1275246974/0

The 6.8" Flick Shake on a Jackall Wacky jighead is the bomb. It's like a senko with extra wiggle. I like the smaller Flick Shake worms on a drop shot too.
  21. Nice work man...thats a hawg smallie.
