Some more good 'uns taken with the Thumper worm. Nice work fellas!
  2. I agree, plus they excluded Jackall products from the sale.
  3. Thanks Wayne! That did brighten my day. Russell put the screws to the Raiders the entire time he was there, now it's Al's turn to apply the screws. Go for it Al !! Davis is always trying to swindle somebody out of some money one way or the other and he's gotten away with it in the past. (Shanahan) Plus I still think he owes Lame Kiffin a couple mil. JUST WIN BABY!!
  4. No offense ffd and I know it to be sound advice but hearing that cliche' is like scraping fingernails on a chalkboard to me. 'Just let the fish tell you what they want'....
  5. Rage Tail Thumper worm. Money.

  13. There's been several discussions about this before but the easiest way to understand it is when over half of your yearly IRS reported income is earned by bass fishing. If you make $80,000 a year and at least $40,001 of it was made from tournament winnings, sponsorship retainers, etc... You could go thru the pages in the Tournament Talk section and probably find the last thread about it. That's also where you'll find this thread in just a few minutes.
  14. I'll pm you a phone # of a guy that's a member of a club that fishes Leesville on a regular basis. And yeah, come on up to Smith Mtn....you can go to just about any ramp on the weekend and find a tournament to get in.
  15. A topwater bite is just like any other bite. Try it, but be able to realize when you should go to something else. If you're not getting the bites on top it may just be the wrong time so dont abandon it totally. Pick it up and throw it every now and then throughout the day.

  17. Thats what it's all about right there! I had a good laugh when I read that but it's the heat-of-the-moment times like that, that you remember forever. Good stuff MBM!
  18. Same here until the past 2 years. I used to call it the q-rig. (quitter rig)....now after several years of refusing to throw it anymore, I'm throwing it on a regular basis again now. Anytime the fish are relating/feeding on the bottom, thats when I throw it. I'm like everyone else on 'where' I throw it but I seldom throw it in less than 10 ft of water. Just couldn't take that butt-whipping on KY Lake last year, could ya? Yeah man, thats it. ;D

  20. The Thumper worm is the truth, no doubt about it. Nice fish Big O !!
  21. The orange strands are probably the difference. The craws are probably that exact same color where you're fishing. I'd definitely look around for some better quality jigs but I'd try to get the exact same color skirts and weedguards. If I couldn't find anything that matches exactly, I'd keep throwing the junky ones as long as they're eatin' them.
