I went against better judgement this year and drove to the local Wal Mart at 2am. They stayed open 24 hours so we got to stand in line, inside the store instead of outside in the cold. I was trapped in there until almost 6am before I made it thru the line to check out. I got my son the HP laptop he wanted though, so it was worth it. Anybody else get anything good this morning?

I dont know about that Scott. Since he has started to focus solely on 155 (except for his GSP beatdown), his cardio and dedication to training have greatly improved. That fight at 170 he definitely looked like the old out-of-shape Penn, but he almost had to in order to make up the size difference w/ GSP. His fights at LW he looked to actually have some muscle definition. Why go to 4 or 5 when you can finish it in 2 or 3? ;D I'm a faithful follower of BJ Penn. His cardio has been an issue since early on and still is, although not as bad as it was....it has improved. He's definitely better at 155, like you said but if the fight wears on, into 4 or 5, he's gassing before Diego.

The only thing that would give Diego the advantage is to get into the 4th or 5th round. His cardio is way better than BJ's. I dont see it going into the 4th or 5th round but stranger things have happened.

I like BJ Penn. He's got crazy skills and if his opponent makes even one tiny mistake, it's game over.

I can tell you this. I've been on Verizon for over 4 years now and I dont think I've ever been anywhere that I couldn't make or get a call. Switching to T Mobile, although tempting, is still iffy on the coverage thing here in Central Va. I was on US Cellular prior to signing with Verizon and they had pretty good coverage for this area, well, everywhere except on the lake.

I just Les Miles on Sportscenter. They were playing a sound clip from after the game of him saying he had no idea who told Jefferson to spike the ball as they played a video clip of him running down the sideline doing a spike-the-ball motion with his hand.... Yep, he tried to throw his QB under the bus. QB says he was confused and didnt know what to do. There was 2 huge mistakes in the last 20 seconds or so....they wasted 15+ seconds when they could have called a timeout, but didnt, then spiking the ball on the last play of the game. The spike on the game's final play gets the BONEHEAD PLAY OF THE YEAR award, easily.

If T Mobile would get with it and build some towers in Virginia where we could get decent service, I'd love to make a switch. The T Mobile coverage for my neck of the woods is non existent. I'm with Verizon now and it's the best service around these parts....nobody else even comes close in my opinion. But it's expensive.

Yeah, I read it either on MSN Sports or Yahoo. It was originally thought that he had mono but it turned out to be some kind of intestinal bacteria infection. I believe it said that he's already had one surgery. The actual medical term for whatever it is hasn't been announced. Dana White confirmed that it is not cancer or HIV but it's very serious and could threaten the rest of his career. I'm not a big fan of his but I hope he gets through it and is able to fight again.

I think he is definitely in the top 5. He led the league in touchdown passes and had the highest QB rating last year. He has the third highest passer rating among active players (ahead of Tom Brady), and does it behind a mediocre offensive line. He hasn't won a Superbowl yet, but neither has Drew Brees and he is considered an elite QB. The main reason Rivers hasn't won one is because of the weak Charger secondary. Yeah, Rivers looks good on paper, I'll give him that. When did this happen?? :-? Oh yeah, ;D they went 8-8 and made the playoffs only because they were a division winner. Meanwhile, the Patriots went 11-5 and missed the playoffs. :-? When NewAngler posted that the Chargers 'will prevail like before', I thought he had something good. The Chargers are expected to win the west with the roster they have and playing in the weakest division in football. Prevailing though? Hardly.
