H2O baits are made exclusively for Academy Sports retail stores. You have to have one of those in your area or find a board member with one near them that will help you out. They pop up in the flea market from time to time and I have seen them on eBay as well.

Try the H2O wake bait if you can get your hands on one. It's been a good one this year and the price cant be beat.

Good post. I believe most fisherman will come to that point at some time during their life. Thats when you know what your confidence baits are and you have full faith in them. I know that as I have gotten older, my tackle boxes have gotten smaller....and I'm not bothered by that at all. I own a boatload of plastics, cranks, jerks, spinnerbaits, you name it, but 90% of them never ever get tied on. They are in the boat 'just in case'.

The Rage Tail Baby Rage craws have been my go to trailer lately. Very good action. Even with the slightest movement of the jig, the claws are flappin'. The slim profile doesn't hinder the hookset as some thicker trailers will. It's probably the best small compact trailer I've ever used. Other than that, Berkley Chigger Craws have done a great job for a couple years now. The Power Bait scent will usually buy you just a little more time to set the hook....and that's a big help when fishing a jig.

Knuckle Down Lures makes some great spinnerbaits. They have some awesome paint jobs on the heads and skirt colors that you wont find anywhere else....you really should see the sexy shad he makes.

I like to add in a shad pattern jig once fall gets here. I typically get more bites on the fall this time of year and also more bites while reeling in and I think the shad pattern jig helps since they key on shad in the fall.

Miami playing Florida Atlantic or whichever no name Florida team it was doesnt really constitute being televised nationally. Its no different than any other ranked team playing a cupcake team. Most of those games aren't televised.
