  1. Yeah, I agree, Roy was a little irritating at first. But looking back now, he did look like a 'man among boys' (fighting). He pretty much mowed right over his opponents. He may have matched up better with one of the other guys, who knows. I actually thought Schaub was going to splatter Roy and win it all. Boy, was I wrong. Did you guys pay attention to the Frankie Edgar fight? Man, that dude is lightning fast with his hands and has great power for a lightweight...a small lightweight at that. He may get the winner of BJ vs Diego this weekend. Cant wait for that one. I think the Bisping fight you're talking about was against Matt Hamill. Hamill clearly won the fight but with the UFC promoting/showing in the UK that night, the UK's Golden Boy Bisping got the decision. That was BS.

  3. I dont think so. I think Alabama rolls easily. Texas should've beat Nebraska easily If the Horns play like that against Bama (who can score, unlike Nebraska)....Texas is toast early.
  4. I think the Kimbo/Alexander fight was rigged. Houston has never ever done that in the octagon before. Usually he just goes at it and that's against REAL EXPERIENCED guys....heck, he knocked out Keith Jardine in what? 20 seconds? ....and he's running from Kimbo Slice? Come on man, that fight was rigged. Dana sees $$$$$ with Kimbo in the octagon at a time when who knows whats up with Lesnar, Rampage quit and UFC is competing with Strikeforce and Fedor. The UFC needs a 'Kimbo' right now. Roy deserved everything he got. Who cares what he looks like? The dude can fight. Period.
  5. I'd really like to hammer on the Cowboys with everyone else but since they just pounded the Raiders on Thanksgiving Day, I think I'll just watch the implosion in silence.
  6. Those 6 rings didnt help 'em yesterday when Gradkowski (of all people) was walking the Raiders up and down the field in the 4th quarter. Oakland's got 3 rings and easily should've been 2 more but the refs and the NFL didnt and still dont like Al Davis so some BS calls were made to take them out of the picture. One against the Steelers (Immaculate Reception the ball hit the ground, dont say it didnt) and one against the Patriots (tuck rule -----> dumbest rule ever).
  7. This time to the mighty Oakland Raiders. It was really good to see that my boys didnt give up and came out on top, on the road over the defending champs, no less. Gradkowski's no world beater by any means but I sure am glad they benched that bum Jamarcus Russell in favor of Gradkowski. We're not in last place in the West anymore either! Good win today!
  8. Although there are some good points here, let's keep it civil fellas.
  9. Fire 'em all and hire a new crew at minimum wage. Seriously though, number 3 sounds fair enough if your company can afford it. People need a little extra loot these days.

  11. If he can even make light heavyweight. He's pretty cut up as it is and his legs are already skinny. I'm not sure he could lose 25-30 pounds to make the weight. If he did, I think it would probably take too much out of him to make it a good fight. Light heavyweight might not be the best place for him anyway. Machida, Griffin, Rashad, Rampage (if he comes back), 205 is stacked with Kimbo killers already. I like Kimbo though (after seeing his positive attitude on the show) and hope he does get better.
  12. Sean Gannon. That fight lasted a good while before he finally knocked Kimbo out. Neither guy could hardly stand up at the end, both were gassed. It's on YouTube. I agree CJ, this season has been disappointing. The HW's just dont have the stamina to keep it interesting. I dont see anybody in the house even coming close to competing with Lesnar. Maybe they should put 2 or 3 of 'em in the ring against Brock. I think Roy Nelson has the 'skills' but Lesnar would dominate him with his size, strength and speed.
  13. And thats the reason I dont feel real confident in my picking of Alabama. I'm not a big Tebow fan or anything but the guy refuses to lose and has more heart than anybody on either team.

  15. Let's get this thing started. Should be a great game. I'm going with Bama.
  16. Whooda thunk it? Fisher was going to let him rot on the bench then Bud Adams chimed in and said he'd like to see Vince back on the field.
  17. I'll go ahead and post the before pic..... Then after I get the lights on it, I'll put up the after pic

  20. I want a desktop/home pc like I have now. I have no need to carry a computer with me anywhere. I'll leave that to the younger folks and the important people. It's hard to argue against a Dell, I know this first hand because the computer I'm currently using is an 8 year old Dell. Yeah, it's OLD!!! I've been having issues for about the past year or so with virtual memory being too low and if I go to eBay or pretty much any site that has a lot of pictures to load, it locks up. Time for it to go. I've had enough. Keep 'em coming fellas, good stuff so far.
  21. I'm in the market for a new home computer. I'm not an online game player so I dont need anything too extravagant and I dont do a whole lot of downloading. I guess what's most important is memory, navigating the internet, email, videos, iTunes, etc....and as always, looking to get the most bang for the buck.
  22. Don't feel bad, most likely they only had 2 for sale at that price.
  23. I 'get' what you're saying here but the fish are not eating anything on this list. The fish do not have to decide whether or not to bite a high speed outboard motor. The stuff on that list may help you locate fish and do it faster but once you settle in to try to catch 'em, live bait is a huge advantage. It's what they eat, day in, day out. The debate isn't about equipment or gear. It's about live bait and how people view live bait catches. In a controlled setting, a live minnow, shad, shiner, etc....will outfish any artificial bait by a long shot, thats no secret. I guess the real question behind all this is whether the catch of 10 lb bass is diminished if it were caught using live bait, not an artificial bait. All this being said, my PB largemouth was caught on a live bluegill. I fished for that bass 2 straight days with artificials. On the 3rd day I came back and hooked up a bluegill. Pretty much as soon as the bluegill hit the water, that bass was stripping line off my reel. Coincidence? I think not. After 2 days of throwing artificial baits I quickly found out (in about 20 seconds) what the live bait advantage was. Do I feel like I cheated? Yes, but I still recognize that fish as my personal best. Should I feel guilty about that? Maybe.
  24. I saw that advertised and was very interested but I called ahead and found out they didnt carry them for a California King. Oh well.
