I dont have a problem with Dobyns rods. I still own a couple of them....none are spinning rods though. I think Loomis spinning rods are better than all others from the IMX up, thats my opinion and the sole reason I use them. I think a spinning rod should be the most sensitive rod you own and I get that from Loomis. But that doesn't mean that I think all other spinning rods are junk by any means. Its a personal preference thing. Nobody is wrong, they just form their own opinions thru experience. For SWIMBASSER: When they first put out the SHR and DSR tech spec rods, I bought both. I thought both would be a little lighter than they were and I wasn't impressed with the sensitivity. I couldn't tell a big difference in those rods and some other name brand rods which were in a lower price range. For the extra money the tech spec rods cost, I just couldn't see it. I thought I had a good idea of what they should've felt and fished like and they just didnt measure up in my opinion. I was curious about the GLX SHR so I acquired one to try for a couple weeks. As soon as I picked it up, I knew the GLX version was what I was expecting from a tech spec rod. I didnt send it back. I didnt even test the GLX DSR, I just went ahead and got one sent to me. Dont think I'm downing the tech spec Loomis rods though. If you like 'em, thats all that matters.

IMX > St. Croix LT or the Cumara The technique specific Loomis Shaky Head rods leave a lot to be desired, especially when you switch to the GLX version of those rods. So, if you're against buying the GLX SH rod, get an IMX that has similar specs.

I was more impressed with the play calling than I was with Tyrod. I always had a feeling that he could throw accurate passes and the long ball as well....they finally opened the playbook and let him do his thing. They have needed to do that for a few years now. It was good to see them go down the field, even when they didnt have to. Plus, they kept playing until the door was fully closed on the Vols. In years past they would get a small lead and sit on it and it would come back to bite them more times than not. Good win. What's your opinion Burley?

Burley, I'm really sorry you had to watch Virginia Tech open that can of whoop--- on Tennessee tonight. I know you dont think too much of the mighty Hokies. Happy New Year!

Probably uses it as skunk repellent. That's a definite possibility but really anything is possible when you're talking about Burley.

I agree Matt, Peyton's only been sacked what, 9 or 10 times this season? That's less than 1 per game. They should've went for it.

Big M does make a fine flat crank. Catching Concepts makes some good ones too. Burley gave me an Ima Shaker and it's been a great flat crank so far.

There's probably 6 or 7 sides to this story. None are 100% accurate, you can bet on that.

I would say the maids hated our smoke last April. Our maid wasn't to happy either, one morning she walked in and turned right back around without saying a word to us. ;D We were also dipping JJ's in the room. Yeah I bet that stunk, especially you with the 16 bottles off jj's you had got. ;D Yeah, after Burley won about 25 jars of JJ's I gave him all but 2 of my 10 jars. He won't run out anytime soon.

I've been hooked on both but I cant say which is worse. I quit dippin' many moons ago, thankfully. I do still smoke but I'd love to be able to quit.

I think the loss to Dallas had a huge negative impact. I hope they get the ship turned in the right direction fast....I got a little loot riding on the Saints.

I dont think that 'record' is as impressive as they think it is....but, whatever. I think the NFL should shorten the season next year (like back then) just so someone can break it or at least tie it.

I have owned and still own many different model Revo's. The SX is the only one I had problems with. The STX is the king of all Revo's. The Premier is a close second.

You could tell Peyton wasnt 'on board' with the coaches decision to pull everybody. I cant say 100% that I'd leave everyone in if I was coach and was in the same situation but it would be hard for me to take 'em out and sacrifice what could be history in the making. I think they should've went for it all. Perfect reg season, playoffs and a SB win. I do think we're seeing the erosion of Brett Favre and the Vikings. The offense has done nothing recently, Favre doesnt look good and Peterson doesnt either. I think it's Eagles vs Colts in the Super Bowl.
