He can wrestle, no doubt. He's big, fast and strong, I'll give him that. I know he's learning jiu-jitsu now but he's nowhere close to the real BJJ skills of Mir. He's getting by right now with the wrestling, size, strength and speed. Yeah, he followed the gameplan in the last Mir fight to the letter because he knew that if Mir had his hands free and could move at all, he'd be in danger of getting submitted. Hopefully when they meet again Mir will have a better gameplan than Brock does. I know Mir can beat him again.

Did you see the last Mir/Lesnar fight? Sure he got Mir down but it was what he did after they hit the mat. Obviously he learned wrist control and pretty much had Mir stretched out in a way that he just couldn't move. GSP could take BJ down but he couldnt immobilize BJ. Not like Lesnar did to Mir in the 2nd fight. I agree though, Lesnar is a freak of nature. BJ moved up and fought GSP at 170. Then between rounds GSP had his cornermen rubbing vaseline all over him. How was BJ supposed to get a grip on GSP like that? ;D

You WWE worshipers are killin' me with this Lesnar talk. I gotta say though, Lesnar's going to be tough for anyone to beat now that he's figured out the 'rug n pound'. Lay on 'em like a rug and hit 'em in the face. FishinDoug...you are probably right.

You should've come to Smith Mtn last year. It was looking to happen again this year but the temps came up about a week too soon and gave 'em a break. Still lots of winter left so it's still a possibility.

I've run 40-50 miles before but usually my runs are more like 10-20. I remember Rick Morris doing that long run in the Classic a few years back. After the time it took to get there and back I think he had 2 hrs of fishing time once he got there before he had to head back in. It almost paid off. I believe he finished 2nd didnt he? Didnt Luke Clausen win that Classic?

Okay, lets get it going. AFC Jets at Colts NFC Vikings at Saints At this point, I'd really like to see the Jets win it all but for picking winners, I'm going with the Colts and the Saints.

I was 2 for 2. I really thought the Cowboys were going to beat the Vikings. Then the Jets came along and stuffed the Chargers. I really feel sorry for the Chargers kicker....lose by 3 and he missed 3 FG's. Ouch! Thats gotta hurt!

If it had been done to anybody else I'd have something to say about it. But it happened to the Cowboys, so I'm perfectly cool with it.

At least for another week he is.
