  1. Clcik this -----> http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/bass-fishing-articles.html#lures Just pick one and start reading.
  2. No kidding. So 2-3 ft isnt shallow? It is where I'm at. You'll have fish setting up on points before they move into the pockets to spawn. Looks like you've found a dependable prespawn pattern. Nice fish guys!
  3. Kistler Helium LTA 7' MH wooops! That wasn't one of the choices. I'd go with the Loomis because I feel like it's the better rod but Shimano may have the better warranty.

  5. G Loomis GLX SHR822S. The Mac Daddy shaky head rod is where you need to start.
  6. In the mornings along rip rap, a topwater is hard to beat. After that bite goes away I like to quarter off the bank with a crankbait. This narrows down the depth at which the fish are using. As I figure out the depth I start getting in parallel position and mainly fishing just that target depth with a few different baits. Shaky head, jig, crank, etc...
  7. I know. That's why I responded in this thread.
  8. I like the college overtime format but I dont agree with them starting their drive already in field goal range. I say start 'em at mid-field and make 'em at least get a couple first downs to get in FG range. Then the other team gets their shot (starting at the 50) to tie or win the game....and so on. I doubt the players union would allow so much extra time to be played without some agreement to be paid more for these OT games and like someone mentioned, you have the fatigue factor coming in and there is more time for injuries to occur. But, as someone said, the percentages say that there's no guarantee that whoever gets the ball first will win. I remember hearing about midway thru the season that it was only about 40-45% of the time that the team getting the ball first won. So maybe nothing is wrong. But I'd like to see the rules changed anyway.
  9. The Aints won't have time to get to Manning. The Jest blitzed the entire game and rarely got to him. New Orleans won't have time to play dirty. Agreed. Two sacks and then...figured out and picked apart. Peyton is on a whole different level than everybody else. This includes his coaches, his teammates, the other team and all their coaches. He can figure out what the defense is going to do in short order and once that happens....the game is over. It's a real shame they didnt go for the perfect season. I really believe it would've happened.
  10. This is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. Could Sage Rosenfels or Tavaris Jackson lead the Vikings into the NFC Championship game? Or even a wildcard berth? Please ask yourself that.
  11. Apparently you didn't see Favre's last pick against the Giants in the 2007 NFC Championship. No this time it was different. The NFL paid him and the rest of the offense to turn the ball over and for Jared Allen to go easy on Brees. It explains why Goodell was there too. It was all rigged. ;D The good 'ol conspiracy theory!
  12. The whole Saints team should send Brett Favre some Christmas cards this year since he gave them such a nice gift.
  13. Favre was the main reason for the Vikings being in the NFC Chamiopnship game and also the main reason they wont be in the Super Bowl. Very ironic. I'd really like to see the Vikes dip Adrian Peterson into a barrel of Stick'um before each game next year. Good running back, bad ball skills.

  18. Most of my Premiers are strapped on Kistler Helium LTA's.
  19. No way I'd hand over 5 grand for that boat. Probably wouldn't even go 3 grand. Continue your search.
  20. Mike, I know you probably dont want to hear this but a good hammer would most likely get the job done.

  22. This gets my vote for post of the day.
  23. The older Poe's 400's were great cranks but in this day and age, the DT series is really hard to beat. The DT20 is a legit 20' bait and they're all designed by the crankbait king....David Fritts. But, as much as I like and use the DT's, I always have a DD22 either tied on or on deck.
  24. All fighters think they can beat anybody and they speak/talk trash like they can. Why wouldn't they?
