Bluegill are vicious. If they could grow to the size of bass they would be the number one sport fish. ;D That one you caught is good eatin' size. I would like to have me a few of them.

I used to play it quite a bit. I always ended up getting shot...a bunch. People always complained about how bad it hurt, but when you are in a huge shoot-out and your adrenaline is going, you sometimes don't notice when you've been hit. I miss playing.

I really like what Hookerz has going too. I didn't expect that kind of quality for such a good price. I chose Owners. Super sharp and extra strong.

I cast one handed most of the time. The exceptions are big cranks, the few swim baits I have thrown and the Carolina rig. Practice in the yard. This is how I learned how to cast effectively using the usual methods (overhand, sidearm, etc.).

I selected "no". But if they match the rod AFTER they balance the rod the way I want it, then I am that much happier.

This is my recommendation as well.

Not many. But it is good to know what your bait is doing after a pause or when you yo-yo them.
