  1. Catt, I have learned a whole lot from some of your other posts. It may just be because its late....What the hell are you saying? ;D
  2. TJHfishin, you are going to have to start making your posts more legible. You have been railed on in every thread that you have started. You may or may not like the attention, but you are not going to get taken seriously until you start typing normally. I am glad that you got a replacement rod on the way though.

  4. I don't know if its awesome or creepy. Both. Games have came a long way since the days when I would play pong on our Atari, sitting in front of our floor model television. Its really incredible to see these kind of advancements in that amount of time.
  5. Those are really nice looking jigs.
  6. Its got to be the skirt.
  7. Yep. Same here. I am disappoint.
  8. I used to have a spool of 20 lb. Fluorocarbon that took a hell of a lot of strength to tightly cinch a Palomar knot correctly. I couldn't imagine using 15 lb. on a spinning reel. I hope you find something that works better for you.
  9. Let us know how they compare to your other high end rods when you get one.
  10. I guess I am getting confused. So this isn't the North Fork Composites blank that Kistler uses for his Z-Bone customs? How similar do you think this new G-Loomis blank is compared to what Gary is doing with his newer company? Edit - I guess its more of a timing thing. This thing has been in development for how long? And how long as Loomis had the Northfork company? Edit 2 - I guess what I am really getting at is...thats a s***ton of dollars for a production rod not from Japan.
  11. I may be off on this, but couldn't I get a custom made using that same blank for close to the same amount of cash? :-?
  12. Shew. > I was hoping for some sweet looking Revo.
  13. I bought a few of the three packs Wal-Mart used to sell on clearance. I didn't pay much attention to what style they were but I am pretty sure they are the finesse football jigs. I do just about everything with these jigs. I only have one left now but they are the best freakin' jigs I have ever used. I am going to have to order more from Tackle Warehouse. I use three trailers on these jigs: Zoom Super Speed Craw. Net Bait Paca Chunks. Strike King Rage Tail Chunk. They all take a nice, quick JJ's bath before my jig goes in the water.
  14. Burley, that is the first thing I thought too. After using a Citica directly after fishing with a Curado, the grips just feel wrong. It like you are holding nubbins instead of full grips. That is definitely a cool handle for a reel in that price range.
  15. It doesn't look too bad. I bet we will be hearing a lot about these things in the months to come.
  16. Well, here is another different answer: I enjoy using BPS Tender Tubes. Any shade of brown or green will work just fine.
  17. Zoom U-Tail: Pumpkin/Chartreuse Tail or Watermelon Seed. Zoom Big Dead Ringer: Pumpkin/Chartreuse Tail. Zoom Ol' Monster: Watermelon Seed. Zoom Speed Worm: Watermelon Red. Zoom Magnum Finesse Worm: Watermelon Candy. Zoom Magnum Trick Worm: Watermelon Candy. On occasion, I will throw a 4.5" Strait Tail Roboworm in Martens Madness. I think these are the only worms I have thrown in the last two years.
  18. Yep, that is exactly how my mom used to put it. You can say that you don't like a particular thing while having some tact. Some people do not get this.
  19. Look at the Paula Deen thread. Burley is in to grannys.
  20. This reminds me of college.
  21. I think you are going to really enjoy that Savvy. I have caught a few fish using that exact rod and it is an impressive stick. Let us know what you think.
  22. Judging from the specs, it sounds like a pretty good jig rod. I would take it out and throw those jigs on it and evaluate it from there. I am sure there are people here that have used this rod for similar applications. I hope one of them chimes in.
  23. Right now, my personal best is a Lake Erie smallmouth. It was just a tad under five pounds. It ate a smoke Zoom Fat Albert grub.
  24. I have been bass fishing seriously for about four years now. I haven't caught a five pound large mouth yet. I am getting to where I feel relatively confident that it is only a matter of time before I do catch one.
