how often
Wouldn't I love to have you as my teacher! ;D And I fish 3-4 times a week because my schedule is pretty flexible and I am able to pick the best days to fish (weather related).

Trilene Sensation
Is Trilene sensation a copolymer line? It says multi-polymer on it but some sites say its a monofilament. Also, for anyone who has used it, what are your opinions? Thanks guys!

What's your line experience?
I'm making the switch from monofilament to flourocarbon this year. I was wondering if anyone else has made this switch and how it turned out for you. Likes or dislikes?

Unusual spinnerbait modification at Classic
Yeah that has to be a swimbait and a spinnerbait tangled, otherwise it'd be the weirdest lure modification I've ever seen ;D

Best way to cut braid?

After the Rain
If it's murky, go for reaction strikes with fast moving lures or pitch baits that fall fast around cover like heavy jigs or heavy plastics. If it's clear, pick your favorite baits and lures, fish your strengths. I've found all sorts of lures work before/during/after the rain. Everything from frogs, crankbaits, craws, to worms, spinnerbaits, and jerkbaits. Good luck!

Unusual spinnerbait modification at Classic
I thought that it may have just been his trailer on the spinnerbait and a swimbait from another rod got mixed in with it. I could be wrong though. And from my understanding, sometimes that really works well. I've only seen a few people do it but it's definitely a trick not a lot of people use. I guess it's one of those little mods that can make a big difference.

Love me some new plastics!
AWESOME looking baits! The creature/mouse is really interesting, definitely some the fish haven't seen. I wouldn't be suprised if it became your new secret lure The tubes look great as well, considering I'm a big fan of tubes.

BPS Extreme for crankin?
I read an article today that said Rick Clunn likes using 7' heavy rods for cranking sometimes. Talk about stiff! So I'm sure your rod will definitely work.

Punching Mats 101
Keeping it simple... go heavy, and fish the matt thouroughly. Use heavy gear, and heavy baits such as jigs and soft plastics with a big bullet weight. Look for any irregularities in the matt and once again, fish it thouroughly. Look for bites on the fall, or on the first couple shakes of the lure once it hits the bottom. Set the hook hard and horse them out of there.

BPS Extreme for crankin?
BPS Extreme rods are good rods. I don't have any experience with them cranking though. I think you'll be more than happy with it for cranking! Good luck

Wacky vs weightless Texas rigging
I work my wacky rigged lures on the fall. As a matter of fact 99.9% of my strikes are on the fall. I don't think i've had a bass yet, hit it while it's on bottom or when i'm moving it. I cast the wacky out and watch my line, once that line jumps, I set the hook! I do the same for texas rigging. I guess it's just a personal preference on how to rig it when your fishing it on the fall. Either way, stick worms rock!

SSSHHHH....don't tell
Good luck! It sounds like you're adding some suspense to your fishing... nice

STEALTHY FISHING
Yeah I have to flippers so I'm all set to go as far as gear. Any other opinions out there?

Wacky vs weightless Texas rigging
The main difference for me when choosing which one to fish is how you want to fish it. If you're looking to fish the lure on the fall, go for texas rigging. If you want to retrieve the the bait and work it back to the boat, I prefer wacky rigging. I fish a 5" Yum Dinger in Watermelon no matter what. It's my go to. Also wacky rigged worms work well on high pressured lakes when you want to show the fish something different.

Suggestions for hollow bodied tubes?
Strike King makes a great tube with a lot of action. I haven't experimented much with colors because browns and greens have always worked incredibly well for me.

Anyone have any luck in SOUTHERN NH yet?
Shane, what has the weather been like up there lately? Impressive fish for the conditions!

STEALTHY FISHING
I have recently gotten a Fish Cat float tube and a kevlar kayak to fish from on small lakes. Keeping it simple, does anyone do any fishing in these style of boats? Some pros and cons, likes and dislikes?
