  1. Great Job, I hope to get out and start soon too Cool style of fishing too!
  2. I do the same thing, and you're right it does make more sense to use your strong arm for setting the hook and fighting fish. Also you don't have to switch over after casting
  3. I use crankbaits and bounce them off of cover for reaction strikes That's what has been best for me
  4. X2 I like to fish a wieghtless trick worm on a 6'6" M casting rod with a Shimano Citica and 10 lb. line Works like a charm ;D
  5. Sweet lure!
  6. Normally no, I don't concentrate as well Once in a while I do though if I just want to relax a little more
  7. What a fish!!!
  8. Any help? :-/
  9. I picked up a few of these at Dick's a while ago and was curious if anyone has used them. They were cheap but any opinions from experience? Thanks
  10. When me and my buddy go to our different ponds, we call them by the person who owns them or where they are located. ex. Chris's pond ex. Golf course pond Not to creative but it gets us by
  11. I'm looking to replace some treble hooks on a few medium sized crankbaits. I need sharpness, strength, and durabilty. I've been looking at Gamakatsu and Mustad. Any suggestions would be great, thanks
  12. I use 7' St. Croix rod with a Revo SX and 12 Gamma Coplymeyer Line For a hook I use a Gamakatsu G-Lock for my Yum Dinger
  13. With the new Crazy Legs Chigger Craw in, is the original one going to be discontinued? I sure hope not :-/
  14. X2 And as far as lures a 10" worm and a Frog are best. I lean away from live bluegill for big pond bass because I don't feel it is as cool to catch it on live bait but either will work. Also if you have experience with jigs then they will work. I've got a few ponds too where I'm still trying to catch the monster of the pond ;D
  15. Some type of soft plastic I have been to ponds and lakes where hard lures just don't catch anything and I feel if I fish what seems like productive water then i'll be able to coax a bite. Probobly a tube, and some type of crankbait
  16. I HATE when new crankbaits don't run right. It's one thing when they don't catch fish but when they take themselves out of the entire ballgame by not running strait it hits me where it hurts and I can't stand it! ;D I'm done
  17. I'd say go with a 7'6" MH rod. As far as line, for frogs, you gotta have braid.
  18. I love these things!!!!!!!!!!! Probobly the most durable soft swimbait ever!!!!!!!!!
  19. BassinBoy replied to jack1's topic in Tournament Talk
That was pretty awesome ;D Great Job Skeet!
  20. If you watched the Bassmaster Classic Highlights Show on ESPN 2, they revealed a lot of the tactics. The ones I saw were: Dropshot a red robo worm Wacky rig a senko Swim a jig Spinnerbait Flippin and Pitching a beaver bait Shallow crankbaits Black and red tube Crazy legs chigger craw, black and blue Lake fork soft jerkbait Red Lipless Crankbait Bassmaster Magazine will show them too like ColdWaterBassin said.
  21. I use the Trophy Scum Frog and it works great for me.
  22. Well you forgot the Chigger Craw!
  23. I had no idea also. It makes sense, but I never thought about it It's an entertaining show
