  1. there are people that make non lead lures besides the big guys you see in BPS and Cabelas. Most are tin/bismuth mixes. What type of head are you looking for? Dont feel bad. Eventually every state will be like that. Some already are and some streams/lakes are like that. Its a matter of time.

  9. I use a carving knife and sandpaper. Use a saw for the rough cut then trim from there.

  14. Ditto, When I tried them they were horrible. Dulled quick, points were soft, and they were a waste of $ compaired to the longevity of premium hooks.
  15. never caught anything real weird. Just a fishing pole and a couple rocks with holes in them.

  21. I think alot of it has to do with the poor economy, lack of jobs, political disaster, and a few other things. Everyone is at the end of their rope. Sad thing is, I forsee it getting alot worse before better.
