I still believe it is the perfect time to get extremely involved in alternative fuels. We really dont need to shoot ourselves in the foot again. Then again.

I noticed that this morning when I was tootin around. Few weeks ago oil was 35-37 a bbl and gas at the pump was 1.50 range. Now its the same but gas is 30 cents more. Earlier this week Gas from KC to st louis was 1.87-89. Then I hit pevely which is somewhat south of St L. gas was 1.59. :-? Now everywhere is 1.89

If you are serious, be patient and shop around. The auto companies can't get rid of their inventories. HUGE discounts are currently available and the deals will get MUCH BETTER in the coming months. Their pain is your gain, but don't be too quick, these deals are going to keep improving as the industry depression grows deeper. 8-) I agree RW, but the problem I see for me is a circle. If say GM goes belly up will they still have a warranty on a 09 truck I buy? I'm seriously thinking about buying a new one may/june but this is why I am skittish too.

Burley, The good way of looking at having to pay is someone isnt sitting on your money until they feel like giving it back. More $ stays in your pocket. For me I'd rather have my refund be 0 and have all that money during the previous year. Need to look into different ways of tax write offs. Talk to your tax dude. If they are good enough they will find legal things you can do to write stuff off.

The Postoffice needs to transfer out of the goverments hand imo. Make it just like another UPS, Fedx. I bet the would make a profit then. Then it would also help the GDP.

I fish all my jigs the same way. I do vary presentations and jig style upon conditions not jig. Example football in rocks, pointed head in weeds, ETC. If I had the same condition and 4 different style jigs. They all would be fished the same way.

LOL Muddy. I agree with you. If ya aint using it please dont say you have. Takes along time to become credible on these boards and only one or two posts to lose it all.
