Thanks for Posting this LBH. It is true. this is true. Obviously, came from their site. But there isnt any real insulating effect there. It keeps out the wind yes, but it doesnt hold in heat like thinsulate. To a degree you could say yeah it insulates but if there is no wind and its cold out, it wont make a bit of difference. Your cheeks will get cold quick. Gore-tex is probably one of the most inovative fabrics out there. It does what it was designed to do very well. I've got a rain suit and an insulated hunting suit, and boots with it. Great stuff for sure.

My recommendation. Instead of buying a ton of stuff buy quality stuff. Mostly talking about Rods/reels, line, hooks, etc. Some good baits- Check out the affiliates they will have everything you need. From plastics to rods. I would look at some of Reelmechs custom rods he was selling. SOOOWEEEEET.

If you can imagine that head with a little corkscrew where the weedguard would be, and very little collar is what I use the most. I also bought some tru-tungstens in a clearance bin for 10 cents each. Couldnt pass that one up ;D I've also used alot of slyder pro heads and they are good too. But my modified jighead is my favorite.

Any fans on the board? I've had one for awhile and really enjoy shooting it. Whats your set up if you got one? I've got a RRA 16" midlength flat top, Quad rail, and a few other gizmos. I plan on doing some varmint hunting with it this fall. . I'm also looking into a 6.8spc upper for it thinking that would be neat.
