Dang I was hopping to get some molds cheaper. Yeah, I dont have painting talant. I leave that up to you guys. How are you pouring that fluke mold? You pouring real fast to where the tail doesnt fill because of an air pocket? Does the back look alot better with the top on it or if you just pour it in the one piece. How much difference is there really?

I'd like to get into the cranks too but I dont think that is a good idea. To many hobbies already and the crank one seems the most time consuming and artistic. I cant even draw a stick guy right. Once I get some free time I'm going to make about 10 plaster molds. Got any extra al molds laying around?

Me, I'm counting. I"m also wanting a trickworm mold or robo worm mold. Extra 20-30 will get close to buying it. I have been looking at that 2 piece too. Ah crap. Now I dont know again. :-/

I'm getting the 1 piece for double, triple, + pours. Plus I've got a real good idea on a way to pour this thing to get alot different action then a store bought fluke. I'm going to call it the shake shad. LOL.

anyway, I think I'm going with the fluke mold. ;D

I would really like to see what those guys have on file. I bet they have some sweet stuff. I bought a custom made one from a guy and never seen anything like it.

The best isnt a good choice. You really need to look at your application. Head designs work differently in different structures. My personal favorites are the poisen and round head. But everyone will have something different to say.

I hear ya DP, it is addicting. The best thing about AL molds is you can get almost all your $$ back most of the time. I just sold off 2 of mine to help pay for these. That trickworm is now added to the decision list. I need to make up my mind asap.

Yep, I've been thinking about buying the football ones. It would be less of a hassle for me. it is amazing that stuff we (taklemaking junkies) have invented and helped people out with then down the road a manufacturer is building that product. I could garantee that someone from Do it saw the posts on here or TU and said here we go and probably got a bonus for such a great idea. :

I'm with RW cut the old ones off and replace them. No they are not all the same. Ive had some cheap junk ones but the last pair I bought were from cabelas 19.00 they are awsome

On my next soft plastic mold. I'm going to buy a Delmart Big thing mold but I want another one too. Any suggestions? Ones I'm thinking about. Fluke mold 6" Robo look alike mold 5.5"

Muddy if you own the cd down load it to your puter then put it on your Ipod or burn an mp3. You still own the original.

I read a topic on another forum this morning about braid wrapping on the end of a rod. I've always had this issue and never addressed it. What is the best way to eliminate this problem? No I dont want to switch from braid.

No that is perfectly normal behavior like Raul said. This is when you have a problem Fish tank and pour your own plastics. Test the plastics action. Not satisfied Repeat. BTW chichlids are agressive and will attack you lures ;D
