  1. Yep several times. I even walked out of the headquarters in Springfield MO without buying anything.
  2. GMAN, Just a thought.... What I found with all of my articles that I have on my rod and reel sites. "Don't Rush Them" Take your time, the readers will still be there.... Sounds like a real asset to the forum and tacklemaking..... Tight Lines!!!! Well, i'm working on this tutorial. I'm taking lots of pics. I'm going to break it down into a couple catagories. I'm going to take more time to make it a better tutorial instead of whipping it together. Here is what I'm thinking Pouring Painting Assembling
  3. that is a dandy. Very nice.
  4. You guys are killing me with all your tricks so the ol lady wont find out. Funny thing is I bet you she does the same exact thing with her goofy stuff. She thinks how can I slide this one under the radar?
  5. its not worth patenting anything. Too expensive. Cost depends on how indepth you want to go. I would just offer basic colors mostly the ones you fish. Reason if it doesnt sell you can always use it
  6. I've never seen a mold for the skirt part. I would expect you would need an injector for something like that. The only way I know of doing it is pour the body then melt the top on it.
  7. Wow, didnt know this thread was still going. WD also dissipates fast and leaves a varnish goo on the gun. PITA to get off too. Just a bad idea all around imo
  8. I agree, do you have an offseason of fishing to? I dont know if thats directed to me but if it is. Yes I do, its hunting season. I'm going to start tonight on this.

  11. haahaa, good one.
  12. I always forget about that one but it is really good stuff. So is KG brand products.
  13. LOL Dont even get me started on WD40. : I've even seen guns lubricated with birchwood casey tru-oil. Why's my gun smell like stain?
  14. Well guys, I'll get working on this. Just take me some time. Hopefully I will be done by sunday night.
  15. couldnt agree more. Could you help me understand this: Why's it always the guns fault? Just couldnt understand that one. My favorite 3 things to ask people is Is your gun clean What ammo you shooting Are you using rem oil I know I dont always get an honest answer on the first one but the other 2 I usually do. I'd venture to say most come down to #3. Just a trend I have noticed especially when its cold outside.
  16. I dont typically bash products, but on this one I'm just going to come out and say it. This stuff is horrible. in the last 3 days I have seen 5 guns gummed up from this crap. The oil has turned to a sticky sludge. To the point of being able to cycle the gun is difficult. Some of them are pumps some are simis. Various brands of guns, rifles and shotguns. The auto's the guns bolt would slowly cycle forward and not fully close causing misfires, the pumps would just be difficult to pump and they would stick. Then cleaning the residue off is a pain in the rear. I know part of this is a routine maitenance issues but please take my word and a few others words. Look at the FP-10 oil, Millitec, and a few others. You will lead a happier hunting season especially if its cold outside. Thank you and have a nice day.
  17. Excellent advice! x2 What exactly is defective?
  18. Has anyone asked Doug Hannon on this? Just see his opinion.
  19. those are great. I'm glad we have brilliant lawyers.
  20. Very nice indeed. Great work Big M
  21. I've noticed 2 questions on how to make jigs, paint, etc. How big of a hurry are you guys in? What if I make a donation to the board of a how too from making the jig head, painting, the skirt, etc. I will start from scratch to a complete finished product. Would there be enough interest in this for me to spend the time to do it?
  22. I really like that idea. maybe we can work something out with the mods/Glenn on this. Maybe something as simple as a stickie. Real nice baits
  23. Good to hear everyone is ok. I hope they catch the crack head and lock him up for a long time.
  24. good info I'll give it a shot.
  25. Bobby, thanks for the time in posting. I agree with you on the taste and getting the fish to hold onto the bait a little longer. I like proven facts. Does Berkley have anything published on their findings or is it confidential.
