Everyones thoughts turns to hunting? We move our fall tourneys from Saturday to Sunday to accomodate most who hunt. Makes for really tired Mondays :-X

X2 If you fish SML consistently you know who these guys are. I know most of them. The heavy hitters. They are the guys when you pull up for a tournament and see them floating around out there or backing down the ramp you say hmmmmm. Gotta have the A game today with no mistakes or I just donated. They are not invincible.....but they are always consistently on fish and usually in the money. This group can also pull these same results off on any lake in the region. Then in my mind there is a subset of these guys. They are not quite as consistently on fish but seem to really excel during certain times. Pre Spawn..spawn etc. It is funny. I think of SML as my home lake just down the road. SML and every other lake in this region has a bunch of SUPER talented fisherman on them every weekend.

December and January

Now that IS lucky!!!

When I got out of HS I went to college. I hated it. School interfered with women....fishing and partying. After 1 semester I was told to go home. Enrolled at Community College. I did real well and made good grades but hated this even more and quit. Got lucky and was hired on by a GREAT company. I worked real hard and learned real fast. I was always getting bumped up. Then after 6 years, no more bumps. It was explained to me I had gone as far as I was ever going to go until I got my degree. This made me real mad. Thought of quitting. A couple cooling down days I said you know what OK. I can do this. After all they agreed to pay for it. I had to sacrafice a couple years and really really hunker down. Getting my degree was the BEST thing I ever did! All in all I have been here 17 years and for the most part its been great. I know now I would not be where I am today without sucking it up and making the sacrafice. Hard work a dedication just does NOT get it done now in business. GET THE DEGREE! 8-) P.S. My wife figured out this very same scenario a couple years ago......and she is now on the verge of getting hers!

X2 I am a yankee fan. No bandwagon jumper. Don Mattingly was my hero. He was money! They stunk back then....I just grew to love the yankees from watching Mattingly all the time. Anyway I have a picture that I wish I could post here. The picture was taken from just outside Fenway and is called Autumn in Boston. A Yankee fan made a banner out of a sheet that said Go Yankees and hung it out his apartment window. The Red Sox fan made his own banner with a arrow pointing over to the Yankee one and hung it out his window. We will just say that the Red Sox banner was not so nice LOL ;D
