WTG Dwight! Great story. Even better fish! Happy for you. Check your scale. That's 10+ man. The bug eyes, the belly. And the fish is pretty big too. I'm coming to visit you next winter.

Welcome To The New Forums!
I've tried to reload my avatar several times, both from a URL and a direct upload and the avatar is still my old profile picture which is fuzzy. The picture I want as my avatar shows up in my profile settings but not in my posts. Any thoughts anyone? (still miss spellcheck in the reply to or create new topic boxes)

Welcome To The New Forums!
For me, jury is still out. Took a while to get used to last round of changes and now it appears everything is on a white background, which makes it tougher to see and read at my advanced age. Time will tell. Maybe after playing around a bit and making fun of Long Mike, things will be O.K. Found alot of Facebook and Twitter stuff but not spellcheck, which I desperately need.

Looking For A Specific Color Swimbait
These 2 might work for you. Big Bite Baits cane thumper and Bass Assissin Die Dapper. The Cane Thumper is an awesome bait but doesn't last very long. Go to T.W. and check them out. Both have some good colors. Couldn't paste link. My home lake has the identical forage. Gills and Perch. Bought some of the Dappers but haven't had a chance to try them yet. The Grass pig by Berkley Havoc is a good bait but needs more colors. Gamblers EZ series has a ton of colors but you might have to pick one that's close. All of the above are pretty reasonably priced also.

Ice Fishing For Largemouth Bass
I've caught plenty of bass while pike fishing with tip-ups. A couple over 6lbs. Most off the deep weedege and some in shallower weedy bays. I have caught a few jigging for panfish but far more on golden roaches and most of them deeper. Might not be the best option to target if you can't use live bait but they can be caught. Start at the last place you caught them at in the late fall. If it's sunny out maybe try shallower bays close by. You're gonna have to move around. That's why I have the Clam 1 man hut and a gas auger. Move around and cut lots of holes. Good luck!

Cold Morning - Hott Mama!
Nice one! Looks as fat as it is long. I see not even the cold can keep the shorts in the drawer.

Academy H2O Lipless Cranks - Anyone Using Them?
I think we have all had that happen to us at least once. Wrap the bait in a towel and whack it against something hard. (I use my head) I've found that loosens any stuck rattles more times than not. Worth a try before sending anything back.

2012 Roadtrip! Be There!
Gotta get permission from the boss first. We're going to Arizona in March to watch my son pitch for his college team so if there is any $$ left, I'll be there. Is your Bro-in law coming? I think I might need to bring my boat this time. (nothing to do with fishing with Mike). Could meet up with Scrutch too.

Favorite Lipless Crank
Excalibur XR50 (one knockers and rattling) Red Eye Shads Super Spots (swap hooks)This is an overlooked bait that still kills. All 1/2 oz.

2012 Roadtrip! Be There!
I don't think a few boxes of wine will make much of a dent in your savings but the heart medicine for when the dancing girls arrive will be the killer for you old friend.

Help With New Sunglasses
I printed out the page and it appears the only style that would fit are the aviators. They are huge but should work. Got plenty of time now to actually look in stores and try some to make sure to find a pair that fit my BIG HEAD. FL- Looks like I will have to go with the aviators also. Thanks for the offer.

Help With New Sunglasses
I'm having a really hard time finding glasses that fit over my RX glasses because the frames (measured across the earpieces which is the widest point) are 5 3/4" wide. Cocoons go up to 5.5" wide. Fitovers Aviators look like they might work.

Stick-O Vs. Senko
Yum Dingers are a good option. Slightly narrower but pretty darn close to same wiggle on the fall. Tiki Sticks are good too, good action and slightly slower fall rate. Dick's usually has Senkos 2/$10.00 in the spring and I just bought a bunch at Gander Mtn. for $4.99 per. For Wacky rigging, I've been using Dingers more and more and for T-Rigging, Senkos or Tiki Sticks based on fall rate desired. If you can find Senkos on sale, load up. They are getting outrageous. But bottom line is they work.

Nice. I take you aren't an Ice Fisherman.

Super Hot Smallie Fishing On My B-Day Weekend
Easy now Dwight. Let's not start an argument. R.W. is a great guy but I'm much better looking. I should have kept the one that was 5-12 and held all 3 of them up for a picture. 3 fish - 18 lbs. Give Kent something to shoot for.

Last November Smallie
Nice ones Dwight! Where did you get the Walleye? Background looks different and water is pretty calm. The Bay?
