Agreed! Give it a couple seconds before you set that hook! To answer your questions, If I'm gettin topwater bites, I'ma keep throwin topwater lures. NOTHING is more fun than a big ol' bass jumpin up to eat that thing! I like to cover the entire area I'm fishing every which way two or three times.

I like the opposite, stone or whatever from the bottom one and the sides from the top, heh. I don't know why I even bought mine though, I barely ever even look at the thing.

I went there to check it out and fish once, first thing I saw was a guy in a golf cart sprayin the shore. Fished for maybe 20 minutes without a bite and left. Don't plan on goin' back either.

Come on guys, get back on topic! Heh Anyways, my last couple of outings, I've been bending the barb on my hooks to experiment a little. I've actually had nothing but good experiences with this. Haven't lost any fish that I know of and taking the hook out was 100x easier on pretty much every fish I caught. I think I'm gonna keep doing it until I have a reason not to.

Can't help you out too much there, but if you're ever down south a little near Boynton, I've got lots of spots out here.

I put a drop-shot weight on the end of a Sabiki and caught a lil' tiny peacock bass the other day! Pretty much the coolest thing you'll catch with it. 8-)

It does play through the stereo most likely. That's how my Monte Carlo works and I believe most current GM systems work. I do a lot of car audio stuff. When you put an aftermarket stereo in these cars, there's an adapter they sell to keep the door chimes and stuff, it's like a seperate speaker that you put somewhere. So there has to be a way to disable it, not exactly sure how though. I'll try to look into it some more in the morning, it's gettin' late!
