LOL! It hasn't been this cold here probably in like 2 years (at least it feels like it)... I ain't goin' out there fishin' after the sun is almost down until I get a few days to get used to this haha! ;D (I'll be out there though, eventually!)

I've got one quite similar to this one, except it's made by Okeechobee Fats. Can't seem to find it online anywhere right now, but I got it at Wal-mart for $10, not sure if that price was correct, but I love it! It's perfect for shore fishing at least... It holds 2 Plano size boxes and all my bags of plastics in the main compartment. The two side pockets I use for my camera, scale, bags of hooks, etc, while I use the front pocket to hold a few spinnerbaits and buzzbaits, along with my pliers and caplight. There's also a netted pocket in the back that I keep 2 small spools of line in. I really think this bag is a very good deal if you're looking for something to carry with you while shore fishing. The shoulder straps seem sturdy and it makes everything much easier not having to use a hand to carry you're tackle box! Here's a picture I have of it, not very good though.

Couldn't agree with ya more there RW. Colts are fallin' off and Titans have a good chance at a very nice playoff run. Last night was pretty entertaining though, I must say.

LOL Bring that boat down here to Florida, I'll fish with ya! Actually it's been gettin' pretty nice and chilly out here the past 2 days, and I haven't been able to find the fish too well either... Caught one decent one yesterday on a Rage Tail Anaconda but couldn't seem to get anymore to bite today (yet at least)... I think they do want big baits though right about now, tryina' get fat for the winter!

This morning was lovely.

Lake Worth also, fishing's been good the past week or so!

Thanks guys! Not a fan of Stren's lighter test lines, seems like I have the same knot issues you have with the Berkley with this stuff and sometimes with the Suffix as well lol... Thanks though Rooster! Do any stores carry Ultra Soft? I can never seem to find it anywhere and I'm stuck without a credit card for a little while... I've looked at BPS, Gander Mountain, Wally World, Sports Authority, and a few local shops but all they ever have is the regular Hybrid... I've tried US in 12lb test and didn't seem too fond of it for some reason. Don't remember exactly why, but I will give the 4lb test a try if I can get a hold of it somewhere... Would I be much worse off going with 6lb?

Hey guys, got a question... What brand of line do you guys prefer for a light action rod, such as a BPS Wally Marshall Pro light action spinning combo? Pretty sure I wanna stick with mono.. Right now I have it spooled with Suffix Siege 6lb test but was thinking about trying something else... Mostly just using this rod for throwing Senkos and other smaller plastics and havin' a little fun. Any suggestions?? Thanks! Anybody got any other tips on using a light action rod?? Anything is welcome!

Heh, it was definitely the biggest I've caught in a few months at least! And I'll be talkin' about this fish until someone catches one bigger outta that lake! (which probably won't be for a while... I think this guys like the old wise grandpa bass lol) ;D

Thanks guys! Yeah, there's a nice little area over there that is kinda fenced in... But it has been there for a while and there are holes in it all over the place, my friend's caught a few bass inside that area lol... It's full of lilly pads, cattails, and trees.. Really a nice little lake, and I plan to get out there a lot more since I know that there's some bigguns in there now!

Was out today in a small lake that is NOTORIOUS for 1-2 lb bass, never seen anything caught out if it over 3. Was using a new Light action BPS Wally Marshall combo that I just got a few days ago along with some Suffix Siege 6lb line and a watermelon Senko... Second cast, I kinda missed the spot I was aiming for so I was reeling in the Senko on the top of the water kinda fast, all of a sudden, BAM! FISH ON! This guy fought so hard! Took my drag out all over the place!! Finally got him up to the shore! Solid 5 pounds. NEVER seen a fish this big in this lake. By far the best fight I've had with a bass! Took one or two more pics, but my camera was dying and they didn't make it... Also learned that a Senko can be used as a topwater bait. It does have a nice little wiggle to it and almost kinda walks the dog if you twitch it right...

Actually it was on my uncle's ranch in south Texas. If that was in NJ half that buck would be on my wall and the other half would be in the freezer. ;D ;D ;D LOL That picture is badass. I love it!
