x2 Since I mostly use spinning reels, this comes real natural to me. Just dont let it get under the water and you don't gotta worry about nothin'.

You guys are too funny! Agreed on the band for the glasses. I use a Chums band that I got from BPS or you can get 'em at www.chums.com. They even have floating ones. These ones have fish tips! ;D

Ah... That sucks. They're definitely grass carp. You can see that blueish tint to them whenever they come up close to the shore.

It's gonna be tough trying to use them instead of the good ol' Cavitron (can't stress how much I love this thing)... But I will definitely give em a shot.

Man.... My lake has some friggin' gigantic carp in it. I wanna say like 40 pounders. Pretty sure it's illegal to fish for em here in FL though.. I guess if I really wanted to I could always say I was trying to catch some catfish... ;D

My local Gander had the Rage Tail Shad... I picked up a few packs of em, haven't got to throw em too much yet but they do have some very nice action and look like they'll catch lots of fish!
