  2. Any of you Palm Beach guys know any good local tackle shops? Or do most of you just go to Sports Authority, Gander, etc.? Only good tackle shop I know of is down in Broward by my work.

  15. At night, keep the boat moving at all times possible and try to wear long sleeves and pants if bearable. Will help with less mosquito bites... Them things are a pain in the ***! Today I was hitting up some canals near Boynton and 441 as well as Boynton and the Turnpike, found a pretty good new spot, nailin' some nice bass but it was so d**n hot out my shirt was completely covered in sweat.. The bass keep bitin' though, so keep cool and keep fishin!

  18. Hey guys, first post in the Other Fish forums... Caught my first peacock bass during my lunch break a while ago! It's really small but it's a start! Coulda sworn I took more pictures but oh well... Also, caught this guy the other day, my friend said it's a speck but I have no clue... The colors on this thing were awesome! Any help ID'ing it and how to maybe catch a bigger one?
  19. Finally got my camera developed! Here's some pics from the last few months I've been holding out on for a while now... big ol' hog i cought in the 'yak trolling they really love that cavitron! 'nother one with the cavitron... also a shot at my shore fishing tacklebox the only peacock bass i've landed so far! he's tiny but really cool lookin! wish i got a better picture! i coulda sworn i took like 3-4 pics of him... darn disposable cameras! not sure what this is but ain't it pretty!? my friend that i was fishin with says its a speck... got me, any help?
  20. Agreed. Bass grow very quickly! You're gonna need a really big tank very very soon.
  21. Exactly. It's Florida summer, come on now... Rains every friggin' afternoon for at least 30 minutes haha.. Doesn't stop me from getting out there unless there's lightning. That heat is killer. Stay hydrated and wear sunblock!
  22. Palm Beach here... Mostly just fish my neighborhood lake from shore but frequently get out on some boats. There's some monsters in there! Still waiting for that DD though...
  23. Nice fish man! Florida fishing is awesome! I've been killing em with frogs down here in Palm Beach also, along the weedlines and in the lilly pads. I think you're gonna grow to love Florida and it's awesome fishing!
