  1. I'm not too knowledgeable on the subject, but I'm pretty sure in our area they normally start to spawn around February or March, sometimes April...
  2. $2.15 here still... Guess it's because I'm in a pretty big town... But it has still been dropping gradually!
  3. I'd probably be down for that!
  4. If I happen to see you out at Lake Worth beach, I'm gonna laugh at you! ;D ;D
  5. Nice truck dude (except it's not a Chevy)! The custom badges definitely look a lot cleaner and look really nice on there! If you need any help with your audio system, shoot me a PM... I've got some experience doing installs and such...
  6. Playoffs! Here we come! Miami 27 Oakland 3 After that close call last week, I think they're gonna finally put up a blowout! IMPY - You should try to come down here next weekend for the Pats game!! We need to get that stadium LOUDDD! 8-) PS: I still need some ideas for a shirt for the Pats game! ;D
  7. That's awesome! He kinda looks like Julian "Frankenstein" from the movie Big Daddy... I hope he's not a monster like that kid was! ;D
  8. Lemme know, guys! I'm down!
  9. Welcome back! If you're ever up a little north of you in the Boynton/Lake Worth area off Hypoluxo, I can get you on some fish in my neighborhood!
  10. That Simpsons one was cool, I don't care what you say! ;D
  11. x2! The Stanley Ribbit is what got me into froggin'!
  12. Congrats, man! Catch some lunkers outta there and take some pics for us!
  13. I'm not gonna be able to make it this weekend... Maybe next time?
  14. Wait a good second or two (or three, or until you can actually feel the fish) before you set that hook! Like Bassin_Fin@tic said though, sometimes you just can't hook 'em. Frogs are a pain sometimes, but then again there are times when they can't be beat.
  15. If I end up not going to the Nostalgia show at the new Palm Beach International Raceway (formerly Moroso Motorsports park), I'll give you a holler! As long as I can be home by 4 for the Steelers game!
  16. Bassin_Fin@tic, thanks a ton for clearing that up! I was gonna drop them an email when I had the chance... Thanks again!
  17. Aww man that's definitely funny! ;D Boy, am I glad these guys don't hang out where I fish!
  18. Thanks a lot, man! I'm gonna try to look a little further into it sometime and see what I can dig up...
  19. You can say that again a friend of mine got CRABS!!!! HAHAHAHA ;D ;D ;D ;D
  20. Thanks a ton everyone! That's pretty awesome Bassn! I've lived here since about 1990 I wanna say... It's been built up a lot more since I moved here though. There still were a few cow pastures and lots of dirt roads, but now it's all built up and we're actually getting a bridge for Hypoluxo going over the Turnpike soon! There are definitely some big bass in there... I don't get to go out on a boat enough to get out there and fish deep, but I have managed to pull in a 6 pounder outta there from the shore... I've heard all kinds of stories from random people about 9-10 pounders in there, but have yet to catch one! I might be moving outta here within the next year or so, so here's to hoping I can get a HAWG outta there before I leave! ;D
  21. I think it really depends on the water you're fishing and the bait fish that are in that water... I shore fish from a bunch of different spots on my neighborhood lake, and last week, I fished the same exact spot for about 4 days.. Here's the results: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1225481786 Also caught 3 more there the day after. What does it mean? I have no idea... But runnin' and gunnin' isn't always gonna be the best... I was also using the same bait most of the time, using the same presentation... Nice fish by the way! Any more pics??
  22. I'll definitely agree with ya there!
  23. Hey there buddy! I haven't used the hooks in question, but I normally use a 5/0 Gammy EWG as well for frogs and the Rage Tail Shad... Never really have any problems with 'em, except the Shads sometimes wanna roll over... Others here have suggested getting a keel weighted hook to keep them running good... Haven't tried that yet, but I would imagine it would work pretty well... Where you at in West Palm?? Topwater bite has been ON!
  24. I agree, heh... It wouldn't matter on the private lake in my neighborhood but I would still like to know for when I get out on the big public lakes...
  25. Hey man, don't lose all your hope yet... You got Dante startin' this week! ;D ;D ;D
